"RE:So, the abomination of desolation, causes the 3rd temple to be desolate of Jewish worshippers?"

When Jesus spoke of the abomination of desolation:

Matthew 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Was he referring to the temple being desolate of Jewish worshipers from that time?
He couldn't be referring to the temple suddenly becoming desolate of the presence and glory of God, when the abomination is placed?
Because didn't Jesus already declare the temple to be desolate of that, earlier?

Matthew 23:38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
Matthew 23:39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
Matthew 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

Jesus pronounced the temple desolate, and then departed from it, similar to the glory departing from the first temple:

Ezekiel 10:18 Then the glory of the LORD departed from off the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubims.
19 And the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight: when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and every one stood at the door of the east gate of the LORD’S house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

Ezekiel 11:22 Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.
23 And the glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city.

Some may say, that Jesus pronounced only the 2nd temple desolate.
But how can a third temple, in the tribulation, possibly have the glory and presence of God?
The veil of the 2nd temple was rent when Jesus died on the cross.
Israel, as a nation, is still in rejection of their Messiah.
So, how could he now re-bless animal blood sacrifices while they still reject the shed blood of Jesus?
No, that would seem wrong on so many levels.
So, the abomination of desolation, causes the 3rd temple to be desolate of Jewish worshippers?
