Greetings my friends in the Lord ,  soon we will be celebrating Easter Sunday. The day we rejoice in the resurrection of our savior Jesus Christ. If Jesus had not risen from the dead, our Christian faith would be worthless. With His rising - believing in the  Christian faith becomes the most important decision anyone can ever make in this life. The decision to believe in Jesus as your personal savior or not to believe will determine where you will spend all of eternity ,either in heaven or hell. And only you can make that decision for yourself

I have listed here six important truths of knowing that the resurrection of Jesus Christ is real:

1. The resurrection proves Jesus is the Son of God , Romans 1:4 Says -" Jesus declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead "

2. The resurrection brings reassurance of our acceptance with God and forgiveness of sins , Romans 4:25 says "He who was delivered for our offences , raised for our justification " 

3. The resurrection assures us of a high priest in heaven , Romans 8:34 " Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died and also risen, who is at the right hand of God, who makes intercession for us "

4. The resurrection assures us victory over Satan , Revelation 1:18  " I am He who lives, was dead, and behold, I am alive for evermore, and I have the keys of death and hell "

5. Because Christ arose, we too shall arise, 1 Thessalonians 4:14  " If we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus "  . And John 14:19 tells us " Because He lives , we too shall live "

6 . You are justified with your heart for eternal life  Romans 10 :9-10  " if you declare with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that your profess your faith and are saved

Easter Sunday is a time for celebration, for the world's savior is alive and well. He sits on His throne in heaven , looking forward to the day when we will join Him for all of eternity in the heavenly city, The New Jerusalem. The only question for you is : what side of the cross do you stand on. Have you accepted that the resurrection of Jesus Christ is true and have you place your hope and trust in Him ?  If you have - all of eternity in heaven awaits you . If you have not yet made that decision to believe in Jesus as your savior, do it today. Don't delay another day, where you will spend your life for all of eternity depends on your decision. Jesus is waiting for your answer !
