"What you can expect to see in the sky just prior to the rapture"

Doves,

I am in Florida away from home for the winter months and am really handicapped from my normal email setup. I have to go through RR remotely and cannot adjust the font size or text so please bare with me if my post comes through small, scrambled, without the original color highlights and /or whatever.
I posted to Doves over a year ago concerning what I believe we could expect to see in the sky just prior to the rapture and I thought considering current events that I needed to once again try to post the same article.

Here is that post..........or go to the Doves site and search for the post from 2Nov2014

"Doves, Take Great Heed........A Banner Will Signal the Start"

Doves,

Throughout history at the start of a horse race or car race a flag or a banner was used as a signal. The banner was held in a high vantage point for all in attendance to see. Those at the event who were alert, the watchmen you could say……… focused on the banner in anticipation of the banner being waved….. signaling the start of the event.

Well, that’s exactly what God has instructed us in scripture is to happen in the near future to signal the start of the end times scenario. God is going to establish a banner high above the mountains or in the sky as a warning to all who are watching that He is about to start the end time proceedings and then a wave will happen. Soon after this banner or ensign appears, all hell is going to break loose…….literally.

How do I know this to be true? I found seven areas of scripture without even looking hard that redundantly attest to this happening. I will go into the details of these “banner” scriptures later in this post in an attempt to bring clarity to these scriptural truths.

What is this banner projected above the mountains that all will see that will signal God the Father’s intervention for Israel and the great resurrection and rapture of the church?

Isaiah 11:10 answers this question……”And in that day (end times) there shall be a Root of Jesse (Jesus), who shall stand as a banner to the people; For the Gentiles shall seek Him, (and we sure are) And His resting place (for these Gentiles) shall be glorious.”

So, the face of Jesus is going to be displayed above the mountains in the sky for all to see signaling the soon intervention by God the Father for Israel and the soon great resurrection of the dead, the great resurrection of the whole house of Jacob (Ezekiel 37) and then the rapture of the dead and the alive in Christ. As per scripture many other things will be happening at this same timeframe but lets just focus on the “banner” aspect at this time.

Jesus Himself in Luke 21:25- 26 pointed out all the end times signs that would be confronting us. All the signs Jesus listed in these verses are presently before us. He then instructed us in Luke 21:28 to…… look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption (He… Jesus) draws near….. Why did Jesus instruct us to look up? Because His face will be displayed as a banner in the sky signaling the start of proceedings.

He also said in verse 27 ……”Then they will see the Son of Man (Jesus) where?….coming in a cloud (in the sky) with great power and great glory….

He also said……“all who call on the name of the Lord will be saved“…..I suspect a lot of people who see the face of Jesus portrayed on the sky will at that time call to Him to be saved.

If all of this is true, how come no one in Christian circles ever references this banner phenomena as being a huge part of the end times scenario? Maybe because of………Daniel 12:4 …..shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end…….

Well, it is the time of the end and I am going to shout these banner verses out to all who will listen and hopefully they will take heed.

When one looks at the many related bible verses concerning the banner and then studies the before and after adjacent verses a clear picture develops of what will happen after God raises this banner or Jesus’ face is in the sky.

Before I get into the many individual bible verses that attest to all of this, let me first give you an overview of the major events……as per these verses….. that appear to transpire right after we witness the banner… Jesus’ face…. over the mountains or in the sky that all will see.

First…….the banner (Jesus’ face) is displayed in the sky for the whole world to see

Second…..A voice as loud as a trumpet calls to “them”. I believe the ‘them” is the resurrection of the dead. The dead in Christ and also the whole house of Israel / Jacob arises from the dead

Third….a wave from Jesus pointing to the “gates of the nobles”. I believe this is the “first fruits” of this great resurrection…. the 144,000.… that Jesus takes to heaven to become His personal entourage to follow the Lamb wherever He goes as per Revelation 7 and 14

Forth….a command to His sanctified ones (His church)……. which I presume is the command for the dead in Christ and the alive in Christ to rise and meet Him in the clouds

Fifth……A call to His mighty ones to carry out His anger. Out of this great resurrection as per Ezekiel 37 God raises back to life….the whole house of Israel / Jacob……. His exceedingly great end times army from the whole house of Jacob and uses these resurrected spirit beings as His end times army……200 million of them….. with His own personal Spirit blown into them (as per Ezekiel 37:14)

Sixth……the great exploits and fear generated by God the Father’s resurrected army written in great detail found not only in the “banner verses” but also in many other areas of scripture.

These six events I just listed appear to be the major events going on in the different “banner verses” but there appears to be many other things happening in the same general timeframe such as those listed at the sixth seal and the Ezekiel 38 conflict. Like a world wide earthquake, a blackened appearing sun, moon appearing red, earth’s atmosphere rolling up like a scroll and receding many miles farther out into space possibly exposing earth satellites to gravity causing them to fall to the earth like late figs from a tree shaken by a mighty wind, the face of God the Father being exposed to Israel’s enemies, extreme overcast heavy clouds and gloominess.

Let’s now take a closer look at these “banner verses” I want you to focus on starting with Isaiah 13 that project quite the storyline.

Isaiah 13

2 "Lift up a banner on the high mountain, [Jesus’ face]

Raise your voice to them; [A call for the dead to rise]

Wave your hand, that they may enter the gates of the nobles. [ The first fruits , the 144,000 are sealed and then directed to the gates of the nobles]

3 I have commanded My sanctified ones; [the dead and alive in Christ are commanded to rise and meet Jesus in the clouds]

I have also called My mighty ones for My anger-- Those who rejoice in My exaltation." [ In the great resurrection of the dead that just happened the whole house of Jacob was brought back to life and forms an exceedingly great army of 200 million spirit beings and is used by God the Father to dispense His anger on the world as per Ezekiel 37, Revelation 9, Joel 2 and other areas]

4 The noise of a multitude (God’s resurrected 200 million man army) in the mountains, Like that of many people! A tumultuous noise (a wild and uproarious noise that leads to great emotional disturbance) of the kingdoms of nations gathered together! The Lord of hosts musters The army for battle. (God the Father personally summons, assembles, takes roll call and inspects, and instructs His new formed army….ie. musters)

5 They (God’s army) come from a far country, >From the end of heaven-- The Lord and His weapons of indignation (anger as a result or reaction to injustice, meanness, ingratitude…..righteous anger) , To destroy the whole land.

6 Wail, for the day of the Lord is at hand! It will come as destruction from the Almighty. (The “day of the Lord” is referenced in many scriptures and takes place during the end time scenario)

7 Therefore all hands will be limp, Every man's heart will melt,

8 And they will be afraid. Pangs and sorrows will take hold of them; They will be in pain as a woman in childbirth; They will be amazed at one another; Their faces will be like flames.

9 Behold, the day of the Lord comes, Cruel, with both wrath and fierce anger, To lay the land desolate; And He will destroy its sinners from it. (and they will be hiding in caves and reinforced buildings…anywhere to escape looking at the face of God and his army…. as per Rev.6)

10 For the stars of heaven and their constellations Will not give their light; The sun will be darkened in its going forth, And the moon will not cause its light to shine. (same verbiage to Joel 2:10 where we also see God’s army carrying out His destruction)

11 "I will punish the world for its evil, And the wicked for their iniquity; I will halt the arrogance of the proud, And will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

12 I will make a mortal more rare than fine gold, A man more than the golden wedge of Ophir.

13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, And the earth will move out of her place (same worldwide shaking event spoken of in Revelation 6, Ezekiel 38), In the wrath of the Lord of hosts And in the day of His fierce anger.

14 It shall be as the hunted gazelle, And as a sheep that no man takes up; Every man will turn to his own people, And everyone will flee to his own land.

15 Everyone who is found will be thrust through, And everyone who is captured will fall by the sword.

16 Their children also will be dashed to pieces before their eyes; Their houses will be plundered And their wives ravished.

17 "Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, Who will not regard silver; And as for gold, they will not delight in it.

18 Also their bows will dash the young men to pieces, And they will have no pity on the fruit of the womb; Their eye will not spare children.

19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, The beauty of the Chaldeans' pride, Will be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. (we also learn in Ezekiel 38, Revelation 9 and Joel 2 that God the Father and His 200 million man army incur most of their damage by fire. Fire from the face of God and fire from the fire breathing horses that God’s army rides…..hence the reference to Sodom and Gomorrah)

20 It will never be inhabited, Nor will it be settled from generation to generation; Nor will the Arabian pitch tents there, Nor will the shepherds make their sheepfolds there.

21 But wild beasts of the desert will lie there, And their houses will be full of owls; Ostriches will dwell there, And wild goats will caper there.

22 The hyenas will howl in their citadels, And jackals in their pleasant palaces. Her time is near to come, And her days will not be prolonged."

The next “banner verse” to look at is Isaiah 18 starting in verse 3.…..Also note that verses 1 and 2 have to do with the water rights dispute happening right now between Egypt and Ethiopia. So we are in the correct timeframe for all of this to happen.

Isaiah 18

3 All inhabitants of the world and dwellers on the earth: When he lifts up a banner on the mountains, you see it; And when he blows a trumpet, you hear it. (Again the banner is the face of Jesus displayed above the mountains and a voice as loud as a trumpet will address “all the inhabitants of the world)

4 For so the Lord said to me, "I will take My rest, And I will look from My dwelling place (in the clouds?) Like clear heat in sunshine, Like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest." (God is describing two things rising when He looks down. One coming up from the ground and the other just in the air. They rise and then disappear just like….. the dead and the alive in Christ at the rapture.)

5 For before the harvest (main part of the end time harvest), when the bud (144,000) is perfect And the sour grape (Jews who haven‘t sweetened to who Jesus is yet) is (still) ripening in the flower, He will both cut off the sprigs (young people and or offspring of a family or institution) with pruning hooks And take (them) away (rapture them) and cut down the branches (destroy many descendents of Ishmael and Esau).

Note….in verse 5 God is describing an event that happens before the main part of the end time harvest. God analogizes this event to a grape vine. This grape vine represents the covenant vine He planted through Abraham. The vine and the parts of this vine represent the descendants of Abraham and those who have been grafted into Abraham’s family tree and the final roles in history of all these players.

So what this verse is saying is that before the main part of the end time harvest begins……… when part of this grape vine that has never been pollinated (had sex was still a virgin) “the buds”, (the 144,000) is perfect and the sour grapes, (the Jews) who haven’t accepted or sweetened to Jesus yet are still blinded to the truth (ripening in the flower), God will do two things. He will cut off the “sprigs” which Webster defines as young people or offspring of an organization. We are all offspring of Christ’s Church. He then takes away (raptures) these young people (under the age of responsibility) and the offspring of His organization….. the Church. The second thing He does is to cut down the branches. The “branches” here represent the part of the Abrahamic vine that didn’t bare good fruit, this being the descendants of Ishmael and Esau. As we learned in Isaiah 13, Joel 2 and Rev. 9 God uses His army to destroy them just like they were going to do to the Jews. We learn in the next verse (6) that the bodies of these “branches” and their livestock will be left for the mountain birds of prey in summer to feed on and the beasts of the earth to feed on in the winter. This agrees with Ezekiel 39:4 concerning the birds of prey and the beasts of the earth. It also agrees with the time duration because Ezekiel 39:14 speaks of seven months to clean up the bodies.

6 They will be left together for the mountain birds of prey And for the beasts of the earth; The birds of prey will summer on them, And all the beasts of the earth will winter on them.

7 In that time a present (the arc of the covenant from Ethiopia) will be brought to the Lord of hosts From a people tall and smooth of skin, And from a people terrible from their beginning onward, A nation powerful and treading down, whose lands the rivers divide--To the place of the name of the Lord of hosts, To Mount Zion.

The next “banner” verses we need to look at are from Isaiah 11. Here we see the same scenario played out again. Jesus as the banner, the church seeking the rapture, God the father resurrecting the whole house of Jacob for His army and then the exploits of this army. Let’s look at the verses starting at verse 10.

Isaiah 11

10 "And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse (Jesus), Who shall stand as a banner to the people; For the Gentiles shall seek Him, And His resting place (where he takes the Church after the rapture) shall be glorious."

11 It shall come to pass in that day That the Lord shall set His hand again the second time To recover the remnant of His people who are left, From Assyria and Egypt, From Pathros and Cush, From Elam and Shinar, From Hamath and the islands of the sea.

12 He will set up a banner for the nations, And will assemble the outcasts of Israel, And gather together the dispersed of Judah >From the four corners of the earth. (Similar verbiage to Ezekiel 37 when He resurrects the whole house of Jacob / Israel)

13 Also the envy of Ephraim shall depart, And the adversaries of Judah shall be cut off; Ephraim shall not envy Judah, And Judah shall not harass Ephraim.

14 But they shall fly down upon the shoulder of the Philistines toward the west; Together they shall plunder the people of the East; They shall lay their hand on Edom and Moab; And the people of Ammon shall obey them. ( Describes in verse 14 and 15 some of the destruction from God’s resurrected army)

15 The Lord will utterly destroy the tongue of the Sea of Egypt; With His mighty wind He will shake His fist over the River, And strike it in the seven streams, And make men cross over dry-shod. 16 There will be a highway for the remnant of His people Who will be left from Assyria, As it was for Israel In the day that he came up from the land of

The next ‘banner” verses to look at are in Isaiah 5 starting at verse 26. Here again we see the banner, and God calling loud enough to be heard all over the earth to assemble or muster together His end time army. Then the description of this army very similar to Joel 2 and also same extreme noise of this army and same weather conditions.

Isaiah 5

26 He will lift up a banner (Jesus’ face) to the nations from afar, And will whistle (extremely loud call, shout) to them from the end of the earth; Surely they (resurrected army) shall come with speed, swiftly.

27 No one will be weary or stumble among them, No one will slumber or sleep; Nor will the belt on their loins be loosed, Nor the strap of their sandals be broken;

28 Whose arrows are sharp, And all their bows bent; Their horses' hooves will seem like flint, And their wheels like a whirlwind.

29 Their roaring will be like a lion, They will roar like young lions; Yes, they will roar And lay hold of the prey; They will carry it away safely, And no one will deliver.

30 In that day they will roar against them Like the roaring of the sea. And if one looks to the land, Behold, darkness and sorrow; And the light is darkened by the clouds

The next “banner” verse is found in Isaiah 31 verse 9 but the whole chapter speaks to His spirit filled end times army and the intervention of God Himself for the battle of Jerusalem. Unbelievable story line in this chapter.

This chapter tells how the Egyptian forces (manmade forces) made of flesh are no match for God’s spirit forces. The text describes God’s huge spirit filled army just as it did in Isaiah 5 as loudly roaring lions who are very intimidating and have no trouble defeating God’s / Israel’ enemies…..until…..they come up against Satan and Satan’s princes (Gog) at the battle for Jerusalem. Satan and his princes are not impressed or intimidated by God’s resurrected army or the terrible noise they make. Consequently we learn in verse 4 that God personally….the Lord of Hosts personally comes down to fight for Mount Zion and its hill. Verse 5 describes The Lord of Hosts defense of Jerusalem as being like……”birds flying about”. Verse 5 says that He defends, delivers and preserves Jerusalem during this onslaught by Satan and his troops. Verse 8 then says that these Assyrian troops will be killed by a sword not of mankind and the survivors will become slaves or forced labor. It then says that Satan and his demonic princes will retreat to their stronghold because of fear. It says that Satan’s princes will be afraid of ….the banner….the face of Jesus. The people of Israel have witnessed this whole event and it appears from verse 6 that they now recognize Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

The last “banner” verse I would like to list is found in Psalms 60. Here we see a similar scenario to all the other banner passages. We have the earth trembling and shaking, the inhabitants of the earth are in extreme confusion. Verse 4 and 5 states that……”You have given a banner to those who fear you, that it may be displayed because of the truth…..That Your beloved may be delivered, save with Your right hand, and hear me”…….

In conclusion I believe that I have presented a strong case to attest to what God has told us to do. He told us to watch…watch….watch and after we witness the heavenly and earthly events spoken of in Luke 21 happening (and they have), then we are to “look up” because a banner…. the face of Jesus….. will, one of these days be looking back at us signaling the kickoff of God the Father and Jesus’ wrath.

Once again with vast amount of information provided to us by God in the Bible concerning…. the banner…..and His end time resurrected army…… why has practically no one in the Christian community written about this and why have they not made it one of their prime focus points for our watching and our faith and our hope??????

Blessings Doves..….hope you enjoyed “the banner theme” of these related scriptures as much as I have and I pray that my discernment concerning them is accurate……..John B

P.S.  I would like to share one more thing with you. My wife who has been a great Christian lady for many years now and is completely involved and on fire for the Lord had a rapture dream where she was standing in our back yard and saw Jesus' face in the sky.......and then she was taken up.

Keep looking Doves......one of these days someone extremely important will be looking right back at you
