"Hebrew letter Nun"

Most of this info is from Mark Biltz’s Hebrew letter study.  I would encourage all to listen.  It is quite fascinating.

The 14th letter of the Hebrew alphabet is the letter Nun

Its meaning is perpetuity or eternity.  Recall Joshua the son of Nun led the Israelites into the promised land.  So Joshua the son of eternal life=Jesus

It means fish in Aramaic-the emblem of Messiah

It’s the 14th letter and therefore associated with David-gematria of 14 - David is a clear type of Christ and His reign.  Jesus is repeatedly called the Son of David.

In God’s meanings of numbers 14 is thought to represent salvation.

The gematria of the letter Nun is 50 representing freedom or redemption-recall Pentecost is the 50th day and the jubilee is the 50th year.

In the word Nun the first Nun is bent over representing humility and servanthood and the second Nun is standing upright representing the inheritance of the kingdom.  You can see a picture of Jesus’ 2 comings in this, first as a servant and then as the king.  You can also see the picture of the redeemed in this-the humble will inherit the kingdom.

The Nun represents the Messiah

H5125 נון nuwn {noon} a primitive root; TWOT - 1326; v AV - continued 1, variant 1; 2 1) (Niphal) continue, to increase, propagate 2) (Hiphil) continue, to increase, propagate

Used 1 x in all of bible speaking of the Messiah

Psa 72:17 His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.

The sages interpret this to mean that Messiahs name shall be Nun

What is really fascinating is that H5125=Nun the name of the Messiah, redemption, jubilee etc

AND THAT IS THE DAY COUNT FROM 9-11 TO THE DAY THE JUBILEE CAN BE DECLARED, 9-23-15

That would be awesome.
