Revelation 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

 

Ezekiel 3:14 So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the LORD was strong upon me.

 

Ezekiel 8:3 And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looketh toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provoketh to jealousy.

 

Ezekiel 11:24 Afterwards the spirit took me up, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.

 

Ezekiel 37:1 The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,

 

Ezekiel 43:5 So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house.

 

(In the wilderness: where Joseph was cast by his brethren into a pit, and where Moses was prepared of the LORD 40 years.

Where the LORD made the covenant with Israel, where he fed Israel, where his tabernacle was built, and where Israel rebelled.

Where David abode from the face of Saul, and where John the Baptist was preaching.

Where Jesus was tempted of the devil, but also where Jesus would go to pray.

Where Jews will be hid from the face of the devil, and where Jesus has John shown the judgment of the great whore.)

 

(When John first sees her, he sees her sitting upon a scarlet colored beast, with seven heads and ten horns, similar to:)

 

Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

 

(Yet, the beast is scarlet, similar to:)

 

Revelation 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

  

(The word, sit, or sitteth:)

 

Revelation 17:1b I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:

  15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

  3b and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast,

  7b I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her,

 

  9b The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

  10a And there are seven kings:

 

 

Revelation 18:7b  for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.

 

(Not only does it say that she sits upon the seven king/kingdom beast, but also that the beast carries her.

As seen in chapter 13, sometimes the beast refers to the antichrist, or to his kingdom, or possibly to the evil spirit which possesses him.

The whore may think that her influence and riches are still hers, like they had been all along.

But in the tribulation, it will only be because the beast will carry her.

She may think that she can commit fornication and reign over these seven kings, like she has the kings of the earth.

However, she does not reign over the seven kings, which are the seven heads, as they are most likely fallen celestial princes.

Like the prince of Persia, the prince of Grecia, or the Assyrian, the fallen celestial prince that was over Assyria.

There have been human counterparts to these seven, e.g. Pharaoh, Nebuchadnezzar, Alexander, Caesar, etc. 

Also, she does not reign over the ten kings, the ten horns, as they give their power and strength to the beast, not her.

Also, because they are the ones who will, on their own, make war with the Lamb, since they know who they will be fighting.

However, all the kings of the earth needed to be deceived by the miracles of the three unclean spirits, to be gathered into Armageddon.

But these ten don’t need to be deceived or convinced to go to war, they do it all on their own.

Also, these ten kings hate the whore, and like when they give their kingdom unto the beast,

it is because God puts it in their hearts, to fulfill his will, by destroying her, especially by fire.)

 

Revelation 17:4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

 

(She is richly adorned like wealthy royalty.)

 

Luke 7:25b Behold, they which are gorgeously apparelled, and live delicately, are in kings’ courts.

 

(However, this is one of the things that the reformers pointed to, that convinced them that the whore was the catholic church.

When the catholic hierarchy comes together for special events, like Christmas mass, some wear purple, and others scarlet.

When looking upon them, there are rows and rows of purple and scarlet.

Also, the catholic church, and especially the vatican, has been astronomically wealthy.

Then, by how she is arrayed in purple and scarlet, she is shown to be a counterfeit of:)

 

Matthew 27:27 Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers.

  28 And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.

 

John 19:1 Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him.

  2 And the soldiers platted a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe,

  5 Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!

 

(The scarlet-purple robe that was put on Jesus is what was used to mock Jesus as King of the Jews, at the time of his crucifixion.

She is identified, somehow, with our crucified Savior, and has been for about 1700 years.

She similarly is therefore identified with the tabernacle, the vail, and the door, but not the blue:)

 

Exodus 26:1a Moreover thou shalt make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet:

  31a And thou shalt make a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work:

  36 And thou shalt make an hanging for the door of the tent, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, wrought with needlework.

(But she is missing the blue, which is for the high priest – Jesus, our high priest, is missing, he has nothing to do with her:)

 

Exodus 28:31 And thou shalt make the robe of the ephod all of blue.

  35a And it shall be upon Aaron to minister:

 

(Also, her being decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, she is a counterfeit of the new Jerusalem:)

 

Revelation 21:18b  and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.

  19a And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones.

  21a And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl:

 

Also, the catholic church uses a golden cup for their eucharist, where they say they have actually changed wine into Jesus’ blood.

This is an hideous heresy where they are actually worshipping the wine.

As Israel turned from bride to whore, it would appear that many in the churches have done the same, and more so at the end.

Whether still primarily the vatican, or even more by proxy of her daughters, line 4 shows how she appears astonishingly wealthy,

but as a whore, she makes so many drunken with her fornication, by giving them to drink of her cup.

They are allured first by her riches and beauty, but then taken in by her fornication, immorality, but also idolatry,

then made drunken by this, and moved to madness by her sorceries.

The inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk by the wine of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication directly with her,

and here John sees that her golden cup is filled with abominations and filthiness of her fornication.

It is horrible fornication, acts that are abominable according to the scriptures, acts that are filthy in the eyes of the LORD.

The warning to us reading the book of Revelation, is to not partake of, to live in, or remain in, her filthy fornication:)

 

Revelation 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

 

Revelation 22:11b and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still:

 

(She is the source of the world’s filthy fornication, which she gives to the inhabitants of the earth to be drunken with.)

 

Habakkuk 2:15 Woe unto him that giveth his neighbour drink, that puttest thy bottle to him, and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look on their nakedness!
