That was a really great collection of the numerous prophecies that Jesus fulfilled.

It makes for good witnessing.

The thing that you said about the Jewish people looking for a different Messiah, reminds me of a lot of us these days.

Far too many of us who profess faith in Jesus, actually worship a different Messiah, then the one revealed in the scriptures.

Rather, a Jesus who tolerates the sin and ungodliness in our lives, because he is all and only about grace and love.

But does that not, then, turn the grace of our God into lasciviousness?

Especially since:

Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

  12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

The Jewish people certainly don't need that Messiah presented to them, by any of us who live ungodly.

btw - I used the words, "us" and "our", not to include you, but actually to include me.

I struggle too often with only worshipping those things about Jesus that I like, that fits my lifestyle,

rather than who he has revealed himself to be, in the scriptures.
