"Am I a tare?"

Am I a tare?
I don't think the answer is what some consider, like:
"Gino, you said the, 'one, two, three, repeat after me', prayer, so you're not a tare."
What about fruit? Do I even have fruit? Or, if I do, what kind of fruit is it?
The first mention of fruit:

Genesis 1:11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

That which is meant for fruit is to yield fruit.
Then there is:

Genesis 1:28a And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply,

Being fruitful is also in the context of reproducing.

In regard to the first of the two mentioned:

Colossians 1:10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Ephesians 5:9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)

However, on the contrary part, can tares have fruit? And if so, what kind of fruit would that be?

Genesis 4:3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.

Matthew 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

Then in regard to fruit in context of reproducing:

Mark 4:7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.
  8 And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.

So, can these things help me to know whether I'm a tare or not?

Matthew 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Can I know if I'm a tare by my fruits, or lack thereof?
Yet, I know whom I have believed.
I was asked by my daughter, once, how I can know if I'm saved.
I turned to the following, showing her:

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
  9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

And I told her, "I know I'm saved because it says so right there!"
The day that I repented of my works, turned from the queen of heaven, turned to Jesus, and believed on Jesus through the gospel,
it was by Ephesians 2:8-9 that I was able to repent and believe.
I know I'm saved because it says so.
Yet, now, Jesus desires fruit.

Colossians 1:5 For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
  6 Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

Perhaps I need to trust Colossians 1:5-6, like I trust Ephesians 2:8-9.
