They talk about the inevitable increase of gas prices to $10 a gallon.  The U.S. hasn't built a new refinery in 50 years.   And refineries that are going to be shut down next year - affecting diesel and gas prices.  Regulations are a gigantic disincentive.

 

88% of the energy that's in a electric car battery is non-solar, non-wind  39% gas, 23% coal, 20% nuclear, 6% other (non-solar, non-wind).  

 

(So if THEY get rid of gas, coal, nuclear that leaves 22% of the total energy available that's needed for an electric car battery.  SOMEBODY isn't going to be driving anywhere!  That's where the depopulation comes in.  I think we can apply this to homes, businesses, etc.  Yikes!)
