HOW TO CORRECTLY UNDERSTAND DANIEL 9:27..........

In order to correctly understand Daniel 9:27 one must read and study the set of three Scriptures : Daniel 9:25, 26, & 27 together as a group. The first thing to notice is that Messiah IS NAMED as the subject being spoken of in the FIRST TWO of the three Scriptures, ie. Daniel 9:25 & 26.    Messiah is also the subject being spoken of in the third Scripture, ie , Daniel 9:27, but in the third Scripture Messiah is spoken of by the use of the pronoun "he".  The pronoun "he" used in Daniel 9:27 is referring back to the subject of Daniel 9:25 & 26 who is the Messiah spoken of previously in Daniel 9:25 & 26. The Messiah is the topic spoken of in the last three Scriptures of Daniel chapter 9. Then Daniel chapter 10   begins an entirely new topic . 

SO, THERE YOU HAVE IT;

The subject of ALL THREE Scriptures of Daniel 9:25, 26 & 27 is the Messiah,  and only the Messiah.
