THE BOOK OF REVELATION MANDATES THAT WE USE IT.........

The reason the Book of Revelation reveals 'a single period of time' THREE DIFFERENT WAYS is because it is a mandate that we use this knowledge which is revealed to us. The single period of time I am referring to is the 1,260 days, 42 months, and 3 1/2 years which is also times, time, and half a time. Each and every time that this particular time period is revealed to us, in any one of the three ways, concerning a prophetic event in the Scriptures it is speaking of the very SAME period of time which occurs immediately BEFORE the Second Coming of the Lord on a future new moon of Tishri 1, Feast of Trumpets TO END THE GREAT TRIBULATION  :

Revelation 11:1-2

"Rise and measure the Temple of God, and the alter, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the Holy City shall they tread underfoot FORTY TWO MONTHS." ( until the end of the great tribulation )

Revelation 11:3

"And I will give power unto My two witnesses ,  and they shall prophesy 1,260 DAYS clothed in sackcloth." ( Revelation 11:12 states that they are called to heaven just prior to the 7th angel's trumpet sound at the end of the great tribulation in Revelation 11:15 )

Revelation 12:6

"And the woman fled into the wilderness where she has a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there 1,260 DAYS." ( until the end of the great tribulation )

Revelation 12:14

"And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle that she might fly into the wilderness into her place where she is nourished for A TIME, TIMES, AND HALF A TIM E from the face of the serpent." ( until the end of the great tribulation )

Revelation 13:5

"And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies,  and power was  given unto him to continue FORTY TWO MONTHS." ( until the end of the great tribulation )

SO, THERE YOU HAVE IT :

All of the prophetic events listed above will be fulfilled during the very same time period during the 1,260 days, 42 months, or 3 1/2 years immediately prior to the future Second Coming of the Lord on the new moon of Tishri 1, Feast of Trumpets. This particular period of time is the wrath of God's great tribulation judgment upon the whole world which will end  at the Second Coming of the Lord. 

What is written above is corroborated by Daniel the Prophet :

Daniel 12:6, "How long shall it be TO THE END of these wonders ? "

Daniel 12:7, "And he swore by Him that lives forever and ever, that IT SHALL BE FOR A TIME , TIM ES, AND HALF A TIME, .....all these things shall be finished."
