"It's About to Happen"

It’s About to Happen

By Carl Worline

Somewhere around the middle of the 1960’s I began to get the nagging feeling that something big was about to happen.  At first I began to look at the New Age phenomenon for answers but soon realized that that the feelings were being generated by God.  Over the years this feeling that something spectacular was about to happen continued to grow stronger and stronger.  It is what led me to study eschatology.  Over the past few months and weeks that feeling has dramatically increased in intensity, and continues to accelerate, to the point where I find it increasingly difficult to concentrate.  My inner spirit is telling me that we are finally reaching the climax – the destination – of what has been building for so long.  The emotional turmoil I feel is becoming unbearable.

The “something” that I have felt is about to happen is the sudden destruction spoken of in the scriptures, combined with the rapture and the tribulation.  It is all going to take place at once and it is going to strike suddenly and without warning.

Of course, the big question is “when?”  I have always believed deep down inside that it would occur on some significant day.  Perhaps it would occur on one of the Jewish feast days.  Perhaps it would occur on some otherwise biblically significant day.  Or, perhaps it would occur on a historically significant day.  I have always felt that God’s universe functioned as precisely as the finest Swiss watch and I just couldn’t bring myself to imagine that God would randomly pull the trigger.  Now I am beginning to wonder if I might have been wrong in that assumption.  Only time will tell (as they say).

If I use my best discernment to make a guess, and I emphasize the word “guess,” my innermost feeling tell me sometime in 2016.  I would even go so far as to say sometime within the Hebrew year 5776.  That means on or before October 2nd.

In the past I believed the number one sign that we are in the Last Days was the fulfillment of the scriptures where God makes Israel a nation again, and in a single day.  Now I believe the number one sign that we are in the Last Days, and that we are in the very last days of the Last Days, is how all of the many signs have not only become so extreme, but how they are also converging.  It is all coming together and it all about to explode.  I can feel it in my spirit.

I do not have the gift of prophecy, or any other religious credentials for that matter.  In fact, I have always felt that I lacked the gift of discernment.  That is until November 30, 2013.  Let me tell you what happened and how that is really important to what I am saying now.

On that day I was driving to work alone in my car and I was praying out loud about how incredibly frustrated I felt in my lack of discernment and my inability to hear God’s voice.  Even when I do feel that God is speaking to me I find myself questioning if it is really Him.  Then I boldly (yet respectfully) blurted out that the Bible promises that if we ask something in Jesus name, He will do it for us.  Of course, whatever we ask has to be in accordance with His will.  Certainly having better discernment should be within His will.  Jesus, I hold you to your promise.

And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.  John 14:13.

I went on to point out that Jesus promised us that in the Last Days we would have modern day prophets.  How was I supposed to know who was speaking the truth and who was lying when every source, and especially the internet, was flooded with false prophets and outright liars.

At the time I felt like I might be a speaking a little too boldly, but I felt so disillusioned and frustrated that I continued along anyway.  I felt the hair on my arms and body standing up.  I really felt that I was being heard.

One of the things that I am particularly interested in are visions and dreams.  God promised us in the Bible, in both the New Testament and in the Old Testament, that in the last days He would pour our His spirit on mankind, and that young men would have visions while old men would dream dreams.  God also told us in the Bible that He does not do anything without first telling His prophets.  I take God at His word.

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions. Joel 2:28

And in the last days it shall be, God declares, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.  Acts 2:17

For the Lord God does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets. Amos 3:7

I told God that I am really distressed because there are so many false dreams and visions out there that I find it impossible to know which (if any) of them are true.  False prophets and prophetic wanna-be’s flood the internet.  Some are obviously fake while others seem like they could be real.  I also believe that the enemy is putting out fake dreams and visions in an attempt to mislead us and to detract from the credibility of the dreams and visions that truly are from God.

Lastly, I told God in my prayer that He would have to do more that just give me a feeling for me to believe.  There was just no way for me to sort out His words from my own overactive imagination.  I declared that I was leaving that up to Him, but I felt so hopelessly lost I would question anything short of a direct and specific message.  I also remember asking if it might be possible for an angel to appear and talk to me.  (I believe that I did sit down and talk to an angel many years prior during a crisis in my life).

I arrived at work and (pretty much) forgot about my prayer.  Late that night when I got home I check my e-mails and found one from a person I did not recognize.  Normally I delete those without opening them, but this time I felt compelled to open it.  This is the full text:

You are hearing clearly in the spirit. God does nothing on the earth without first revealing it to his prophets. Your brother in the lord. (name withheld).

I (literally) almost fell out of my chair when I read this.  This is a very short and specific answer to my prayer a few hours earlier.  I have no idea who the person is who sent it to me.  His name is totally unknown to me.  I sent a reply to the e-mail thanking him and asking who he is and what motivated him to send it to me, but I did not receive a reply back.  Trust me when I say that this e-mail really shook me.  Lord, you truly had my complete and undivided attention at that moment.

OK. So what does it mean if I truly am hearing clearly in the spirit?

What I am hearing now in the spirit quite clearly is that the end of the Age of Grace is truly at hand and the rapture of the bride is now going to take place.  I also feel deep in my spirit that God is literally agonizing over His obligation to slam the door shut on the free gift of salvation because untold millions of souls who have not accepted Christ will be condemned to hell for all eternity at that moment.

There are two other thoughts I would like to share at this time.

First, I have read numerous articles of various prophetic websites about Muslims converting to Christianity in recent months and weeks.  Halleluiah.  There is a huge influx of souls being recorded in the Book of Life as we speak.  Nevertheless, God has a responsibility to fulfill His promises.  He must slam the door shut on the free gift of salvation at some point so that Daniel’s 70th week can begin.  Imagine how horrible this obligation must be and how it must weigh on the mind of God.  Judgment must come to pass.  Certainly, we can expect God to wait as long as possible, to the very last moment, before He acts.

On the other hand, God has an obligation to punish sin.  We know that God has given us all free will, and when we do sin God often waits as long as He can, hoping we will repent and turn back to Him, before He allows judgment to fall.  However, at some point God can no longer allow sin to continue.  Now, just look at how intense and brazen evil and sin have become in the world.  Also look at how fast evil and sin are accelerating.  I almost wonder how God could have waited this long and allowed things to get this bad without taking action.

Secondly, in Matthew, Chapter 24, Jesus inner circle asks Him very directly when He was coming back and what would be the signs of His return.  Jesus gives some direct, as well as indirect, answers to their question and launches into a parable about the groom being late for the wedding and about a wedding party comprised of virgins who go out to meet Him (Chapter 25).  The parable goes on to talk about how the members of the wedding party who were prepared were welcomed in to the banquet and about the strangely harsh words the groom had for those who were not prepared and arrived late.

After studying eschatology for many years I was firmly convinced that the groom was returning last September (2015).  There were clear signs everywhere we looked.  In fact, there were so many signs along the way that it was almost impossible to see the road.  And yet, nothing happened.  Just like Matthew, Chapter 25, says.  Since then a lot of people from the wedding party have run out of oil.  Or, it might be more accurate to say that they have lost their faith in His soon and literal return.

Jesus will return and when He does the members of the wedding party who ran out of faith will come back and will pound on the door to be let in to the wedding feast.  This is when Jesus will say: “Truly I sway to you, I do not know you.”  Matthew 25:12.

We have seen the expected date of the groom’s arrival pass by and we have seen the delay.  Now it is time for the groom to truly arrive and welcome in those who possessed sufficient oil.

The Bible tells us that in the Last Days there will be a literal war taking place in heaven.  That war is happening now.  There is a separation between heaven and earth that was put in place by God.  Science refers to this separation as a wall between dimensions while Christians refer to it as the veil. This separation shields us, to a large degree, from this war that is taking place.  Nevertheless, we can still sense some of energy that leaks through.  At the same time, mankind has constructed the largest machine in the world in a place called CERN and is attempting to pierce the separation.  I believe we are also sensing the results of this monumental foolishness.  CERN is on the cusp of thrusting mankind into a forbidden realm with, potentially, the most catastrophic of results.

The apocryphal Book of Enoch, which deserves some degree of credibility if for no other reason than the fact that Jesus quoted from it, tells us that fallen angels, demons, giants, and other evil things were imprisoned beneath the surface of the earth.  The Book of Revelation also tells of this.  Additionally, both of these books tell us that in the Last Days these evil creatures will be released on the surface of the earth and that conditions will become so bad that all life would be destroyed if God does not intervene at the last moment.

It is written.  It’s about to happen.  All hell is going to break loose.
