TO GARRY B., JFH, AND GINO

Hello all!

I hope you do not mind that I am answering each of you in this one letter. I just thought it would be easier this way. Thank you all for your time and interest in my posts.

Hi Gary!

You asked about Rev.20:5-6 where it states that the first resurrection has taken place. If we go back to the beginning of the chapter we see that Satan is thrown into the bottomless pit and everyone who is part of the first resurrection are resurrected. This would include all those that are Christ's......He was the firstfruits of the First Resurrection, and all the Old Testament saints that rose with him, the raptured Bride, (the Church) the two witnesses and the 144,000 and last but not least the Tribulation saints as stated in Rev. 20:4 "...and I saw the souls of that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their right hands".

The Tribulation Saints are the last group that takes part in the First Resurrection....they had been killed and were dead physically. They are raised from the dead and along with the rest of the resurrected saints will rule and reign with Christ for a 1,000 years.

Rev. 20:5..."But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished."

The first resurrection takes place at the Second Coming of Jesus and all who are righteous will reign with Him 1,000 years. This is the FIRST RESURRECTION . Then, after the 1,000 years the unrighteous dead will be raised to face the White Throne Judgment...this will be the second resurrection and will include the second death (the separation from God for eternity).

I hope that answers your question.

Hello again!

Basically I think we do not see events in the same way, therefore cannot really agree on when they take place. I appreciate your commentaries and I am glad that my studies have helped solidify yours to yourself. You do have some good points and I appreciate that. Yet, I still stand by what I believe and what I feel the Scriptures tell me.

Hi Gino!

I have stated that there are only two resurrection, although there are various stages for the FIRST. The Two Witnesses would definitely be part of the First Resurrection, along with all the Righteous.....which include Jesus as the Firstfruits, the Old Testament saints that rose with Him, the Church/Bride, that are taken a Rapture, the Two Witness, the 144,000, and the Tribulation saints. The rest of the Old Testaments saints that did not rise with Christ, will be the dead in Christ that are part of the Church at the Rapture. The tribulation saints that are killed during the Tribulation will be raised from the dead (physically) at the First Resurrection. All these groups are part of the First Resurrection and shall rule with Christ for 1,000 years.

The Second Resurrection is for the unrighteous and they will face the second death.
