"Gino (26 May 2013) "RE: Frank & Bill: 05.24.13: seven churches""

From: Marilyn Agee

Hi:

All of The Revelation of Christ (who will be revealed at the time of the First-Trump Rapture) seems to be addressed to the churches about ten days before the Rapture. That could be now, so we should pay attention.

Rev 1:3 says, "Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for THE TIME IS AT HAND."

Rev 22:10 says, "And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for THE TIME IS AT HAND."

Like our movie directors, Jesus started The Revelation of Jesus Christ with a Preview of coming attractions. Rev. 1:9-11 is the Preview of the subject at hand, the First-Trump Rapture.

It says, "I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. 10  I was (ginomai, became) in the Spirit (i.e., like Ed when he came to see me in his celestial body) on the Lord's day (maybe Sunday), and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, 11  Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last"

After the first Rapture, the lampstands representing all 7 church groups are seen with Christ in Heaven, so there are saved ones out of each group.

Rev 1:12-17 says, "And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks; 13  And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden (symbol of deity) girdle. 14  His head and his hairs were white like wool (Dan 7:9), as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; 15  And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters. 16  And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength. 17  And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first (LORD of the Old Testament) and the last" (Lord of the New Testament).

After the scene in Heaven, Rev 1:19 says, "Write the things which thou hast seen (i.e., before the Rapture, i.e., before the COME UP HITHER of Rev 4:1), and the things which are (at the time of the Rapture), and the things which shall be hereafter" (after the Rapture) (i.e., following the "hereafter" in Rev 4:1).

Rev 4:1-4 says, "After this (i.e., after Jesus' Monologue to the Churches) I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, COME UP HITHER, and I will shew thee things which must be HEREAFTER. 2  And immediately I was (ginomai, became) in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set IN HEAVEN, and one (i.e., Jesus/God) sat on the throne. 3  And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper (last stone in the breastplate) and a sardine stone (first stone in the breastplate): and there was a rainbow (Saturn's rings) round about the throne (Saturn), in sight like unto an emerald (Judah's stone in the breastplate, i.e., Jesus is the Lion of the tribe of Judah). 4  And round about the throne were four and twenty seats (lit., thrones): and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders (i.e., 12 patriarchs and 12 apostles of Israel) sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold."

Therefore, not only John, one of the elders, was caught up, the other 23 elders were caught up in the First-Trump Rapture. The wise-virgin saints are caught up too.

Rev. 5:8-10 says, "...saints. 9  And they sung a NEW SONG, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10  And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on (epi, on or over) the earth."

The Last-Trump Rapture will take place on the Day of the Lord, the Day of God's Wrath.

Rev 6:17 says, "For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?"

Rev 7:14 says, "These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."

Only those caught up in the Last-Trump Rapture will be able to stand. On Earth, there will be an asteroid-impact-caused-world-wide earthquake and tsunami, and none will be able to stand.

All of the saints caught up in the first Rapture are FIRSTFRUITS and sing the NEW SONG.

The saints caught up in the First-Trump Rapture before the Great Tribulation did not have to wash their robes in the blood of Christ. They had already confessed their sins and brought them under the blood of Christ.

THE REST OF THE FIRSTFRUITS are the 144,000 Israelites.

The saints caught up in the Last-Trump Rapture, in the Great Tribulation, had to be shown the hard way that they should confess their sins to bring them under to blood of Christ.

After the Last-Trump Rapture, only the 144,000 Israelites can sing the NEW SONG.

Rev 14:1-5 says, "And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. 2  And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: 3  And they sung as it were a NEW SONG before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: AND NO MAN COULD LEARN THAT SONG BUT THE HUNDRED AND FORTY AND FOUR THOUSAND, which were redeemed from the earth. 4  These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the FIRSTFRUITS unto God and to the Lamb. 5  And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God."

Now, let's go back and see what Jesus had to say in his Monologue to the Churches.

These are seven actual Churches in cities that existed in the Roman Province of Asia, now western Turkey, adjacent to the area where Gobekli Tepe, the oldest monolithic calendar ruin, has been found.

SEVEN CHURCHES IN THE AEGEAN REGION OF WESTERN TURKEY KNOWN AS ASIA MINOR

Ephesus means desirable. It was the capital and greatest city of the Roman province of Asia.
Smyrna means sweet smelling, like myrrh, which smells sweet but means bitter.  has nothing listed against it.
Pergamos means elevated, exalted, citadel or married. It was where Satan's seat was located.
Thyatira means continual sacrifice and listens to Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and who converted Ahab from worshiping the Lord to worshipping Baal.
Sardis means escaping.
Philadelphia means brotherly love, and has nothing listed against it.
Laodicea means judgment of the people. They need to repent.

(1) Ephesus (Revelation 2:1-7) - the church that had forsaken its first love (2:4).
(2) Smyrna (Revelation 2:8-11) - the church that would suffer persecution (2:10).
(3) Pergamum (Revelation 2:12-17) - the church that needed to repent (2:16).
(4) Thyatira (Revelation 2:18-29) - the church that had a false prophetess (2:20).
(5) Sardis (Revelation 3:1-6) - the church that had fallen asleep (3:2).
(6) Philadelphia (Revelation 3:7-13) - the church that had endured patiently (3:10).
(7) Laodicea (Revelation 3:14-22) - the church with the lukewarm faith (3:16).

What we want to be is a Philadelphian, for whom the Lord had no words of condemnation.
We just need to use I John 1:9.

Frank & Bill

You had said some interesting things about the seven churches in Asia.

For years, I like many others, considered, primarily the teaching of the seven periods of church history.

I also considered that they were seven, real, actual churches, simultaneous to John on Patmos.

I also considered that every church around, has things about it that can be lined up to each of the seven.

However, after reading what you wrote, the stronger thought that has gripped me, is in regard to us individually.

When I read about Ephesus, do I let the Lord use it to teach me about me, both good and bad?

After all, with each, he mentions, to him that overcometh, which is a personal statement.

Do I let him speak to me, in context of each of the seven?

When he keeps saying, “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches”, do I really not understand yet?

When Jesus said something similar to his disciples, it seems they thought that they understood what he meant.

How often have I thought that I really understood something, and yet was so shallow or way off the mark?

Each time I read about those seven churches, is Jesus trying to only teach me history or prophecy?

Is he not encouraging me & rebuking me?

Is he not helping me to see where I’m at & what I’m like?

Is he not also helping me to see what I need to continue with & what I need to change?

Is he not also helping me to be ready?
