You are right about the time. These eagles are high flying saints at the time of the Last-Trump Rapture, when Gog's army will attack Israel on the Day of the Lord, The day of God's Wrath, the Time of Jacob's Trouble.
Jer_30:7 says, "Alas! for that day (ONE DAY) is great, so that NONE IS LIKE IT: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he (and the rest of the 144,000 Israelites) shall be saved out of it."
Rev 6:17 says, "For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?"
Rev 7:14 says, "These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb." This includes the foolish virgins that get left behind when the wise-virgins are caught up.
After that, the 7 trumpets are given to the angels in Rev 8.
The First-Trump Rapture of Rev 4:1 has already taken place, probably Mid-Trib. All of those saints out of every nation sing the New Song.
Isa_40:31 says, "they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; THEY SHALL MOUNT UP WITH WINGS AS EAGLES; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."
We are sure waiting upon the LORD.
THE FIRST-TRUMP RAPTURE
Rev 4:1-4 says, "After this (i.e., after the Laodiceans are warned) I looked, and, behold, a DOOR was opened in heaven: and the FIRST voice which I heard was as it were of a TRUMPET talking with me; which said, COME UP HITHER, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. 2 And immediately I was (ginomai, became) in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one (Jesus/God) sat on the throne. 3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper (last stone in the breastplate) and a sardine stone (first stone in the breastplate, i.e., Jesus is the first and the last, LORD of the Old Testament and Lord of the New Testament)): and there was a rainbow (Saturn's rings) round about the throne (i.e., on Saturn), in sight like unto an emerald (Judah's stone in the breastplate, i.e., Jesus is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah). 4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats (thrones): and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders (12 patriarchs and 12 apostles of Israel) sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold."
Rev 5:8-10 says, "... saints. And they sung a NEW SONG, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10 And hast made us unto our God KINGS AND PRIESTS: AND WE SHALL REIGN ON (epi, on or over) THE EARTH."
When I get to Heaven, I want to be taught everything about the Bible. There are so many layers of information, we could never dig them all out while we are here. That keeps us looking all the time. We don't get tired of it, because there is always something else to find.
Rev 20:6 says, "Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but THEY SHALL BE PRIESTS OF GOD AND OF CHRIST, AND SHALL REIGN WITH HIM A THOUSAND YEARS."
Jas_1:18 says, "Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures."
The Last-Trump Rapture of Rev 7:14 takes place at the end of the shortened Great Tribulation just before God's Wrath hits Earth. At that time, only the 144,000 Israelites sing the New Song.
Rev 14:1-5 tells us about the Last-Trump Rapture. It says, "And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. 2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps: 3 And they (i.e., the 144,000 Israelites) sung as it were a NEW SONG before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth. 4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. 5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God."
The firstfruits are 1. Christ, 2. those caught up in the First-Trump Rapture, and 3. the 144,000 Israelites caught up in the Last-Trump Rapture.
1Co_15:23 says, "But every man in his own order (tagmati, rank): Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming." Christ was raised up on Firstfruits, APRIL 9, 30 AD. I am hoping those of the First-Trump Rapture will be raised up Mid-Trib, which could be June 4, 2013. It looks like the 144,000 will be raised up on the Feast of Trumpets, Tishri 1, 5776, Mon. Sept. 14, 2015. They will barely make it out of here before Satan's asteroid Wormwood and a mountain-sized piece hit Earth (Rev 8:8-11).
Jesus was resurrected the first time on April 9, 30 AD. I think he will come back again on APRIL 9, Tue. Nisan 1, 5776, the first day of the Jubilee, Sacred and Regnal years. A Jubilee year must be preceded by a Sabbatical Year, and 5775 is a Sabbatical Year. To me, this locks the Jubilee Year into place.
EAGLES' WINGS
Ex 19:4 says, "Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.

Wow, we are going to fly. I don't want to look back. I will be looking for Ed. He said that we could be together forever. I am pleased how my life is turning out. I said, "Yes" to Christ and "Yes" to Ed. Now I am going to get to be with them both forever. I can't think of anything better.
Luk 17:20-37 says, "And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. 22 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it. 23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them. 24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day. 25 But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation. 26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. 27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. 28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; 29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. 30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed. 31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back. 32 Remember Lot's wife. 33 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. 34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. 35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left." 36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body (soma, body, as a sound whole, i.e., the Body of Christ) is (i.e., in Heaven), thither will the eagles (high flyers) be gathered together."
Mat 24:27-31 says, "For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 28 "For wheresoever the carcase (ptoma, a dead body, i.e., the Body of Christ, gone from Earth but abiding in Heaven) is, there will the eagles (high flyers, Tribulation saints) be gathered together. 29 Immediately AFTER THE TRIBULATION of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall GATHER TOGETHER HIS ELECT FROM THE FOUR WINDS, FROM ONE END OF HEAVEN TO THE OTHER."
In verse 31, no one is gathered from Earth. These elect are the saints that were caught up in the First-Trump Rapture. They are called from one end of Heaven to the other to the General Assembly in the heavenly Jerusalem.
Heb 12:22-24 says, "But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, 23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant"
Then the Tribulation saints are caught up from the Earth.
Mar 13:24-27 says, "But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, 25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. 26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory (i.e., they see the Sign of the Son of Man in the sky). 27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the EARTH to the uttermost part of heaven."
These caught up from Earth on the Day of God's Wrath are the Tribulation saints.
> Ezekiel 39:4
> "You shall fall upon the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops > and the peoples who are with you. I will give you to the birds of prey > of every sort......to be devoured."
> Ezekiel 39:17
> "And as for you Son of Man says the Lord God, Speak to every sort of > bird...: Assemble yourselves and come, gather together from all sides to > My sacrificial meal......on the mountains of Israel that you may eat > flesh and drink blood....you shall eat the flesh of the > mighty........and drink blood til you are drunk.......You shall be > filled at My table with horses (carcasses) and riders (bodies)......with > mighty men and all the men of war, says the Lord God."

These are not just eagles as before. They are "every sort of bird."
