"JESUS PROMISES THE JEWISH DESCENDANTS WITH HIS PROPHECY OF A GREAT TRIBULATION........"

JESUS THREATENS THE JEWISH DESCENDANTS WITH HIS PROPHECY OF THE COMING DAYS OF THE GREAT TRIBULATION WHICH IS HIS VENGEANCE AND WRATH UPON THE JEWISH PEOPLE FOR REJECTING HIM AND CRUCIFYING HIM.......

As they led Jesus to His crucifixion a large group of people followed and lamented Him:

Luke 23:28-30

"But Jesus, turning to them said, " Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children. For indeed, the days are coming in which they will say, 'Blessed are the barren, wombs that never bore, and breasts which never nursed !"

And then they crucified Him.  But you know that Jesus will make good on His promise ! His prophecy of His vengeance and His wrath upon the land of Israel and upon the Jewish people is fulfilled in the following Scripture when He said:

Luke 21:22-23

"For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. But woe to those who are pregnant, and to those who are nursing babies in those days. For there will be great tribulation in the land, and wrath upon this people."

Therefore the great tribulation is the fulfillment of Jesus prophecy to the Jews of the coming of His days of vengeance and His wrath upon the Jewish people to fulfill His promise which He made to them on the day He was led to His crucifixion. It is not a world-wide event.

Jesus then shortens and ends the great tribulation of His vengeance and His wrath upon the Jewish people in order to save the flesh of the elect Jewish remnant, who is the woman in the wilderness. The elect Hebrew remnant will be protected, right here on earth, for the 1,260 day last-half of the 70th Week of Daniel which is the "hour of trial" of God's wrath upon the whole world:

Mark 13;20

"And unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake, whom He chose, He shortened the days."

Revelation 12:6

"Then the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, that they should feed her there for 1,260 days."

After Jesus saves the flesh of "the elect" Jewish remnant for the next 1,260 days on earth after the great tribulation is over He then raptures the glorified bodies of "His elect" Church to heaven:

Matthew 24:29-31

"Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven..........they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven......and He will send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."

While "the elect" Jewish remnant is protected on earth for the 1,260 day last-half of the 70th Week "His elect" Gentile Church is raptured to heaven for those same 1,260 days. The raptured Gentile Church is the great multitude before the throne in heaven when Jesus opens the Seventh Seal which begins the "hour of trial" of God's wrath upon the whole world

"The wise shall understand."
