I know exactly how you feel.  I have not bought a new dress in 3 years.  We moved 19 months ago and while most of the rooms have been repainted; I still haven't hung any pictures.  I concluded in the middle of May, I should try to engage the community by looking for employment.  Get out of the house and have a little pocket change as we are on a strict budget.  Have done some looking, but is it really worth it?

I tell myself we are to occupy until Jesus comes and so I trudge onward, sharing when the Spirit leads me too.  Often wonder if I am just being lazy or if the Rapture is really that close - but the Spirit tells me that it is.  Also have children who are now in graduate school.  Try very hard to be supportive and interested in their studies/struggles/apprehensions about the future.  Mostly I tell them to trust God and He will see that everything turns out all right.  Not very satisfying advice for one of them.
