"RE:  Steve Mullin:  "Second Passover and Pentecost""

Hello, John and Doves,

The omer count begins on 16 Nisan, the day of the Feast of Firstfruits.

Although there is a "Pesach Sheni," there is no such thing as "Second Firstfruits."  Therefore, there is no second Pentecost.

Does that answer your question?

"Second Passover and Pentecost"

Hey all,

Does anyone know how Pentecost was celebrated for those who celebrated Second Passover? Would those who had touched a dead body or been on a far journey count 50 days from 2nd Passover making Pentecost 30 days later as well? Just curious.
