According to Luke 23:43, Jesus said to a thief on a cross next to him, "Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise."  However, according to Matt. 12:40. Jesus was to be in the heart of the earth for 3 days and 3 nights during where He preached to the prisoners in hell according to 1 Peter 3:19-20.  The paradise that Jesus was referring to at the time of His death & the thief's death must have been Abraham's Bosom where the righteous were sent (Luke 16:22) because the rich man who ended up in hell could see those in Abraham's Bosom afar off.

So Paradise (Abraham's Bosom) must have been moved to the 3rd heaven after Jesus' resurrection from the dead because Paul tells us that Paradise is now in the 3rd heaven in 2 Corin. 12:2-4.
