I say torn because listening to these comments, I'm hearing what I would want a leader to say. The numbers are off, there needs to be an explanation and accountability.
But given Trump's foreknowledge of 9/11, wouldn't the same apply to the vaccine? No one was more proud of the "big beautiful vaccine that saved millions of people" when it was rolled out
What would a true leader who made a mistake say in the same situation? He would say I apologize profoundly, I was wrong and we need to reverse course and make things right"... Is it possible to think that Trump could ever say the words "I was wrong"?
He could never admit that because he would think that would make him look weak. Arrogant prideful people can never take responsibility.
Let me know what you think. I actually liked the comments when I heard them so that's why I said I'm torn.
