The media has taken to dropping tsunami-sized hints about the 'popularity' of Michelle Obama as a 'replacement POTUS'. The media pose the question (and supply handy poll-taking boxes to tick - check - or ignore) to gauge the lay of the land. Nobody, in their right mind, would wish Michelle Obama on the throne of power. Certainly not a woman who wears glittery silver boots with a canary yellow frock (sarcasm intended). SHUDDER. That was a fashion faux pas that profoundly offended all genuine women. Hahaha.
How have we entered cloud cuckoo land so rapidly? How low of an intellectual level have the media brought us to? That we read such profound absurdity in our press? Is this indicative of how 'they' feel about us? That we are THAT stupid, in their eyes? Or is it an indication of how stupid they genuinely are? I prefer the latter. The lunatics are running the asylum.
