Mt Everest is roughly 5.5 miles high. The tallest mountain in the solar system is Olympus Mons on Mars at 16 miles high.  Outer space is 62 miles above the earth.  The New Jerusalem is 1,400 miles high.

 

The New Jerusalem is so high that landing it on earth would likely cause the planet to wobble and shift out of orbit.  Of course God holds everything together.

 

It's pretty amazing.
