Maybe why the church is so messed up.  We don't see liberalism as a competing "religion" so we accommodate it instead of resisting.  And I know a few "Christians" who are liberal and see no contradiction.

Ancient Israel went down this same path, to their ruin.  They kept their "high places" but also had the Temple.  You would think the First Commandment would have opened their eyes.

Not much longer.
