Garry, your verses in 2 thessalonians 1:7-10 is about the 2nd coming, not the rapture...

The rapture will  happen in an instant, with no warning, before the 7 year tribulation begins... 1 thess 4:13-18

The Rapture must happen before the AntiChrist is revealed,2thess 2:3 ,,& 2 Thess 3:7-14...among others....
in 2 Thess 2 :3  the correct word translation  is departure not falling away... both departure in the rapture and from the faith...one of the few places of errors in  translation from the Greek in modern bibles...
