Latest thinking of date options for encouragment, if we are still here after July!!!

6000 years most likely time, with Jesus most likely starting ministry at 4000 mark at 27AD or 29AD
Lukes dates and Tiberius
2020 to 2026 seem the most likely, with a few specific more likely!
Garry B doing a good job to convince as that the final years are 3.5 not 7, though could be either.

So Luke 3 is the key
In the fifteenth year of the reign of
Tiberius Caesar ...the word of God came to
John son of Zechariah in the desert.
(I just noticed the play on words!!! Jesus came to John the baptist.. "the word of God came to John the baptist!")

So, the historians all say that Tiberius Reigned from 14AD. 14 + 15 = 29AD as the date when John and Jesus start their grand adventure!
BUT - the other option is that Tiberius started a Co-reign a few years earlier.

If you read Suetonius, there is the "feeling" that most likely Tiberius reign did not fully start until Augustus died... but...

So  9+ 2 or 3 years is 11 or 12 AD is when "govern Jointly" was said.

SO - there is a POSSIBLE earlier date where Tiberius "should govern jointly with Augustus", which MAY mean that Luke could count his 15 years from that date instead.

So - 12+15 = 27AD

So, to me, if we assume 4000 years from John and Jesus kick off, and the start is EITHER 27AD or 29AD
and the tribulation is either 3.5 Years, or 7 years, then we have 4 likely dates for the "most likely just before the tribulation".
(which we all hope will be the rapture!)

2027 Less 7 = 2020 October
2027 Less 3.5 = 2024 March
or
2029 Less 7 = 2022 October
2029 Less 3.5 = 2026 March

So, the most exciting one is this October!, but reluctantly I think the most likely is the 2026 to 2029 timeframe, which would be 6 more years of waiting and praying and telling people that Jesus is Lord!

Hopefully I am wrong and Jesus comes and scoops us up this month!!!!!!!!
