"THE LORD'S PRAYER INCLUDES TWO PROPHECIES"

THE 'LORD'S PRAYER' INCLUDES TWO FUTURE PROPHECIES.............

The 'Lord's Prayer’ includes TWO yet unfulfilled future prophecies for which we pray, "Our Father which are in heaven" asking Him to fulfill these two prophecies every time we pray the Lord's Prayer.

The FIRST prophecy is recited as follows, " Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven "

We are praying for the Kingdom of God to come to earth, and for God's will to rule this earthly kingdom just as God's will now rules in heaven. Therefore, we are praying for the prophecy of the Millennial Kingdom of God to come to earth which will be fulfilled at the time of the Lord's Second Coming. That is the first first prophecy we pray to be fulfilled in the Lord's Prayer.

The SECOND prophecy is recited as follows, "And lead us not into temptation , but deliver us from evil."

Before we can understand what we are praying for we need to know what the "temptation" is that we are praying for God to "not" lead us into,  and also we need to know what is the "evil" that we are praying for God to "deliver" us from ?

The following Scripture defines the word "temptation" spoken of in the Lord's Prayer :

Revelation 3:10

"Because you have kept the word of My patience, I also WILL KEEP YOU FROM THE 'HOUR OF TEMPTATION' ( great tribulation ) which shall come upon ALL THE WORLD to try them that dwell upon the earth." (after the rapture ).

The following Scripture defines the word "deliver" spoken of in the Lord's Prayer.

1 Thessalonians 1:10

"And to wait for His Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, WHO 'DELIVERS' ( raptures ) US FROM  THE WRATH TO COME."

SO, THERE YOU HAVE IT :

The second of the two prophecies for which we pray to be fulfilled in the Lord's Prayer is for God to "deliver us", ie. rapture us,  to heaven to keep us from entering into the "evil"  "hour of temptation " which is the Great Tribulation that will come upon "all the world to try them" who are left-behind to dwell on the earth after the rapture of the saints. Pray the Lord's Prayer often.

According to Your Word, come Lord Jesus !
