A Day to Remember in Australia  7.7.2020

 7 July 2010 (7.7.2020) is a day to remember in Australia.  We are doing well with Coronavirus in Australia - except in Victoria where it is worse (in Melbourne) than it has been since the start of the pandemic.  Consequently, the border between Victoria and New South Wales (the two most populous States) has been closed for the first time in over 100 years (since the Spanish flu in 1919!!!).  Victoria is locking down again and the Victoria/NSW border has been closed - from Midnight on 7.7!  Amazing timing!! There are around 55 crossings of the Murray River, so not an easy job. 

 At the time of writing, Australia has recorded 107 deaths (the Rapture number), well below most other countries (especially per capita).

 Poignantly, this reminds me of the warning in the 10 virgins parable.  Matthew 25:10: the bridegroom came and those who were ready went in with him to the WEDDING and the DOOR WAS SHUT!!  Wow, what times we are in! Look Up!!

25 “Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. ² Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. ³ Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, ⁴ but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. ⁵ But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.
