Hi all!
So, how
was YOUR week? In this new world order of having to
“submit” to ‘satanic rituals’ of wearing masks?
Every time you as much go to the grocery
store! I’ll tell you how it changed for me….
first off, I’m going to do my best to not give Wal-Mart
one more red cent of my money! Not saying on rare
occasion, may buy a jug of milk there, but overall, I quit
them!! My DH was exiting WM the other evening &
2 cops were actually called for this one shopper’s BIG
CRIME of not wearing a mask!!!! ROLL
EYES!!!! Give us a ROYAL BREAK!!! This is (was…
as in “used to be”) America, folks!!
Yes, even store employees (or outside contractors
working FOR the stores) are now that ZEALOUS &
super dictators over it!! Someone here recently
mentioned the symbolic BLACK shirts the enforcers are
wearing! Hmm! Interesting indeed….
2nd
of all, since we fortunately live in what I call a
semi-open state (each city & community sets their own
rules & mandates whether to enforce mask wearing or
not…) so at first when WM enforced it, thought I’d
move over to Target – Target now enforces it so though ha
– I’ll move over to Dollar General (cheaper anyway!)…. But
now sighs, “them too”!!! So what to do…. What to
do?? Since the crazies are now running the
world – it’s enforced even at OUTDOOR farmers’
markets!!!! BIZARRE!!! So mostly I
go out of my way to find the small town Mom & Pop
stores which, if they want to stay in business, do not
enforce all this [beyond] craziness!! Or, I call it
out & out stupidity!! And even if I have to pay
a dollar more on a product – so be it! If
these stores change too & at some point they may be
forced to comply (“you too will be assimilated” for you
Trekkies!!) …. Then I will simply order online
(though I hate giving any enforcing store our hard earned
$) yet we’ve got to eat. And can’t grow our
own toilet paper! Well, I guess it’s called,
“leaves” ~ ha…. Though we have gotten accustomed to the
soft cushiony kind ourselves……
So now
to the THEME of my post here….. and I hope I can make this
make sense as it’s rumbling around in my head! Grab
java & hang with me – there’s a lot to cover!
Let’s
read Amos 8. This is in the Bible!! 😉
I noticed this years ago when I was posting at Rapture
Ready & wrote about it then as well.
Amos
8 from the Amplified Bible, classic edition:
Thus
the Lord God showed to me, and behold, a basket of [ripe
and therefore soon to perish] summer fruit.
2.
And He said, Amos, what do you see? And I said, A
basket of summer fruit. Then said the Lord to me, The
end has come upon My people Israel; I will not pass
by and spare them any more.
3.
And the songs of the temple shall become wailings in that
day, says the Lord God. The dead bodies shall be many; in
every place they shall be cast forth in silence.
4.
Hear this, O you who would swallow up and trample down the
needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail and come
to an end,
5.
Saying, When will the New Moon festival be past that we
may sell grain? And the Sabbath that we may offer
wheat for sale, making the ephah [measure] small and the
shekel [measure] great and falsifying the scales by
deceit,
6.
That we may buy [into slavery] the poor for silver and the
needy for a pair of sandals; yes, and sell the refuse of
the wheat [as if it were good grade]?
7.
The Lord has sworn by [Himself Who is] the Glory and Pride
of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their
[rebellious] deeds.
8.
Shall not the land tremble on this account, and everyone
mourn who dwells in it? Yes, it shall rise like the river
[Nile], all of it, and it shall be tossed about and sink
back again to normal level, as does the Nile of Egypt.
9.
And in that day, says the Lord God, I will cause the
sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in
the broad daylight.
10.
And I will turn your feasts into mourning and all
your songs into lamentation, and I will cause sackcloth to
be put upon all loins and baldness [for mourning] shall
come on every head; and I will make that time as the
mourning for an only son, and the end of it as a bitter
day.
There
are a few more verses in this chapter. Though let’s
focus on these. And verse 2 is clear that THE END
comes upon Israel towards the END of summer!! V. 5
goes on to mention that this period is also relatively
close to the time of Rosh Hashanah & their Sabbath (a
Saturday).
It’s
now late July & some of us are hanging on
ever-so-hoping the Lord comes for us this year!!!!!
We’ve moved on past all the spring dates, and have been in
summer for a while, we’re now moving ever so closer to
Rosh Hashanah, which this year is Sept. 19 & 20.
NOTE: it falls on a SAT. which for Jews means
their SABBATH!!!!
I also
looked up future Rosh Hashanahs & found that between
this year & up to year 2027, there are FOUR which
actually fall on a Saturday – INCLUDING the one in 2027
itself!!
Why did
I look up that particular date? For as much as
others want to believe & share their thoughts that the
Tribulation has been “shortened” to be 3 and a half years
(I actually read on one site he thought it’d be shortened
to “5 months”……. SAY WHAT??????) THE BIBLE
SAYS 7 YEARS!!!! When the AntiChrist is given
power to “continue” for 42 months – things have already
been rolling along for 42 previous months!! I
will not compromise on that. On some things, I
will. But where the Bible is dogmatic about
something, then I am dogmatic about the same thing.
So just
saying (hoping) that the rapture is this year 2020 – so
then we count forward to 7 years – thus, the reason I
looked up the year 2027.
What’s
this got to do with the price of eggs? Again, look
at Amos 8.
When
the Lord is finished with Israel – it says it’s during
the time of THEIR NEW MOON FESTIVAL (Rosh Hashanah,
y’all!!) and their SABBATH (a Saturday)……
and many dead bodies everywhere!
So,
possibly rapture: BEFORE Rosh Hashanah & then
many Israelis “get it” right from the get-go—perhaps a
strike on them or something. It IS possible our redemption
to go Home could be at R.H. ~ same time Israel is getting
smacked. Or our rapture ride Home “may be” before
Rosh Hashanah ~ either way! Before or it could be AT
Rosh Hashanah…..
~ OR ~
Could
it also be possible that this Amos 8 scenario will happen
to them AT THE END of the Tribulation? Again, both
Rosh Hashanah’s, this year + 7 years from now, just happen
to be over SABBATH weekends!
And
some of us are familiar with: Jeremiah 8:20
“The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not
saved.” ß so is
this at the BEGINNING of the Tribulation? Or at the
END?? Questions! Questions!
I want
us to look at something! The Amplified classic
version is the only version which mentions in Amos 8 that
the bowl of summer fruit as being LATE SUMMER fruit –
indicative that summer is ALMOST over when the Rosh
Hashanah attack on Israel happens.
NOTE:
Rosh Hashanah is Sept 19 & 20 of this year
Monday,
Sept 21 = “International Day of PEACE”!!!!!

SUMMER
ENDS Tues. Sept. 22…. Immediately after Rosh H. wraps up
as does the DAY OF INTERNATIONAL PEACE!!

Now if
you’re still somewhat following me here (I realize I’m not
doing a bang up job explaining!)…. Anyway in 2027….
Rosh Hashanah is Oct. 2 & 3. HOWEVER!!!
Summer ends EARLIER that year – on Sept. 23, 2027
Again, realizing I’m not explaining this well at all – but
I mention these dates not to say the rapture is 7 years
away – oh goodness, NOOO!!! Rather, just trying to
figure out WHEN the Lord MEANS the END comes upon
Israel? Beginning of Trib? Or at the end??
The
Bible “commentators” say that Amos 8 “ALREADY happened”….
Hmm!! Well, listen, I’m just your average Jane, not
a scholar, not a teacher, just one who loves the Lord
& loves to study His prophecy! Hebrew I never
knew & Greek I do not speak. But I love to study
His Word! The reason I believe Amos 8 is
speaking of the upcoming Tribulation on the earth & in
particular this is talking about Israel, of course – that
it’s GOING to happen (not history as already did) is
mainly because of verse 9: 9 And in
that day, says the Lord God, I will cause the sun to
go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in
the broad daylight. ß-
THIS is exactly what the Bible, in other places, says will
happen (when?) IN…. DURING the Tribulation!!!!!!!
From
Joel 2:1-2 Blow the ram’s horn in Zion, sound
the alarm on My holy mountain! Let all who dwell in the
land tremble, for the Day of the Lord is coming; indeed it
is near – a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds
and blackness. Like the dawn overspreading the
mountains a great and strong people appears, such as never
was of old, nor will ever be in ages to come.
Taking
a shot: at my best understanding, because this talks about
MANY great & strong people appearing – it would seem
that this is when “they” (Israel’s worldwide army of
haters) gather at Armageddon for one last “go” at wiping
her out!!!!!! And they would, TOO, if it just wasn’t
for the Lord Jesus riding in at just THE RIGHT TIME to
whip up on them!! Therefore, this particular verse
would be talking about the day in a “short sense”, while
in other places it’s denoted as being the entire time of
Jacob’s Trouble (a.k.a. The Tribulation)
Again
this is what happens AT THE 6th SEAL:
(some say the seals alone take up the first half of the
Tribulation, if indeed this is the case, this DARKNESS
will happen long about mid-trib) Revelation
6:12 I watched as the Lamb broke the sixth seal, and
there was a great earthquake. The sun became as
dark as black cloth, and the moon became as red as
blood.
MORE:
Amos 5:18 NIV Woe to you who long for
the day of the LORD! Why do you long for the day of the
LORD? That day will be darkness, not light.
And
btw, this does not mean that we Christians are not to look
for, pray for and hasten the Lord’s return FOR us at the
rapture!
Soooo….
Dear watchers who are longing for our REAL HOME, to be
with Jesus FOREVER, where sin, death, destruction &
decay can never touch us! We now must figure out
just WHEN the Day of the Lord begins?....
I
bet some of you may’ve studied this also. Can’t the
DAY OF THE LORD stand for the whole timeline from when God
brings about His first judgments (during the era of “peace
and safety”) Oh!! And interesting to note
right now: everywhere you go, you hear:
“your SAFETY is our number one concern” (yah…
RIGHT!!.... just add a little talk of PEACE to that
– and this is DEFINITELY THEE TIME!!) and
possibly the DOTL ß
Day of The Lord continues on clear thru’ the
Millennium? Not sure, need to study that, but I do
tend to go with it lasting the entire SEVEN years of the
Tribulation.
We
know Paul says in 1 Thess 5:2 For you are fully aware that
the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night.
3.While people are saying, “Peace and security,”
destruction ill come upon them suddenly, like labor pains
on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape….
BROAD
SENSE: “Day of the Lord”..? As though this is
WHEN it begins?? WHEN DESTRUCTION FALLS ON THEM
(them meaning those left here) as Luke 21:36 is just the
opposite in that it promises AN ESCAPE
but only to those who belong to Jesus, who are
abiding in the Vine.
It’s
possible destruction falls on them (left behind earth
dwellers) at the 1st seal: when
AntiChrist talks Israel into signing/confirming THEE peace
agreement with him – which for them, will be the covenant
with DEATH.
By
the time of the 6th seal judgment, the left
behind earth residents will KNOW they are IN the Day of
the Lord!!
But
wait! There’s more! 2 Thess 2:2 says: not to
become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching
allegedly from us- whether by prophecy or by word of mouth
or by letter – asserting that the day of the Lord had
ALREADY come. [emphasis mine]
Well,
they weren’t uneducated ninnies back then!! But
someone somewhere had started circulating this rumor that
they were ALREADY “IN” the Tribulation!! Paul tells
them to step back, to catch their breaths, relax &
realize that they were NOT in the Tribulation!! Paul
continues: 2 Thess 2:3 Don’t let anyone
deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until
the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is
revealed, the man doomed to destruction.
So,
by v. 3, that day WILL NOT COME “UNTIL”….. does
this mean we will see the AntiChrist REVEALED before we’re
called upward? Or does it mean simply that the Day
starts WHEN the AC comes forward (seal #1) ß
I tend to personally go with this scenario!
But
I admit to certainly not having all the answers!

blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when
the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to
live forever. And we who are living will also be
transformed.
So
anyway, I just
wanted to put forth to you some encouragement to hang
tough, that we’re so SUPER close to the finish line now…
any time, literally any day & moment between now &
Rosh Hashanah is looking MIGHTY GOOD!! So do not, do
not, DO NOT look back!!!!! Others may be running
swiftly on past you in this race. That is
okay. You just do the job/s the Lord expects of you,
with the gifts, talents & abilities He fashioned just
for you. Whatever it is, (gifts listed in Scripture)
USE IT!! ***DO NOT BE LAZY!!!*** Only looking
up watching for His arrival while doing nothing down here
for others. Use your gifts & talents for HIS
GLORY!!!!
Scriptures
commanding we NOT IGNORE urgent needs of others:
Matthew 25:43-45 I was a stranger and you did
not take Me in, I was naked and you did not clothe Me, I
was sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’
And they too will reply, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry
or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison,
and did not minister to You?’ Then the King will answer,
‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the
least of these, you did not do for Me.’….
This
very Scripture is about the dividing of the goats &
the sheep!! WARNING!! There is no place
in the Church for the lazy Christian!
Also,
it’s up to all of us to pray for the peace of
Jerusalem!! We already see it laid out here in
Scripture what is to come upon Israel – so the very
least we can do is pray for them!!
