Who are the first people into the lake of fire ?



In this post I will be briefly discussing on why there are people who are thrown into the lake of fire before the great white throne judgement.

The counterfeits


When Jesus returns to Earth there is going to be a judgement on all those that survived the great tribulation

This judgement is to determine who is going to enter the millennial Kingdom and who is not.

This judgment is known as the "sheep and the goats judgement".

In this scripture the unrighteous are called as goats and the righteous are called as sheep.

 Matthew 25:31–46: "But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory. 32 Before him all the nations will be gathered, and he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats".

We know that Satan counterfeits everything God does and is.

For example the antichrist is a counterfeit Jesus

The false prophet is a counterfeit Holy Spirit

Satan is a counterfeit God the father.

When Jesus rose from the dead  there were others who also rose with him on that day also. These are known as the first fruits.

Matthew 27:52

"and tombs opened. The bodies of many godly men and women who had died were raised from the dead".

It's kind of the same thing with the antichrist.

We know that the antichrist and the false prophet are the first people to enter the lake of fire.

Revelation 19:20

"But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulphur".

When Jesus returns to Earth at the end of the 7 year tribulation jesus will kill the antichrist and his armies. Jesus will resurrect him and also those who took the mark of the beast to eternal damnation.

But because the antichrist is a counterfeit Jesus he will also have people who are resurrected with him also. A type of "first fruits"

These people are those who took his mark.

Just how the holy spirt marks us and is a seal to all believers in Jesus Christ.

The mark of the beast is a mark that seals all who take it to Satan.

It interesting to note during this judgement Jesus says to the goats  
Matthew 25:41

"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels".

Notice how Jesus specifically sends the goats to go into the "eternal fire" which had been "prepared for the devil and his angels".  

We know that this cannot mean hell or hades because these are only temporary abodes for the spirits of the unsaved who have died.

So therefore Jesus must be talking about the eternal lake of fire.
