Dear Laurie,

 

I just loved the example you used to illustrate the comparison of the two Kingdoms. So true! It so nicely fit the concept of their difference as well as showed how mutually exclusive they are. You certainly cannot enter Washington DC without FIRST entering the United States!! If you are coming from another country, you must clear customs upon entering this country, and before completing your journey to a city within this country.

 

What a perfect example of how mandatory it is to first enter the Kingdom of God (the United States) before one can enter the Kingdom of Heaven (Washington DC).

A simple, but great illustration, of what I have been trying to convey. Thank you for sharing that!
