Bruce, I have for a long time believed as you do concerning the rapture. One of my favorite references is Malachi 3: 16,17.

lIn those two verses you will read about His son that serves Him and His son that does not. He spares the son that serves Him. I dont know about you but when I was raising my children, some of them needed very little correction whereas the other was a kind of a rascal. I love them all forever and would never leave them but when needed, I would apply discipline that they may become fit citizens of America's communities.God has the responsibility of making His children fit citizens of an eternal commjunity. Some need more correction than others.  Praying always that I will be accounted worthy to escape the correction.
