The Israelites wandered in the desert for 40 years wanting to find the "promised land" or the land of milk and honey. Interesting that the obvious spiritual meaning is us on the earth waiting to get to the "promised land" of redemption, heaven. I'm wondering if there is a connection then between the "Milky" Way in space and the "Honey" moon for Jesus's bride, the church? Just a thought.
