Sarah,

Your foot injury sounds terrible.  I hope and pray you will be up and around in no time.  Whenever the foot is injured it hurts so much.  Even stubbing your toe in the dark is enough to bring tears to anyone's eyes.  I trust you won't be swinging on any ropes too soon.
 
In The Two Feet of the Bride of Christ I related how a copperhead snake had chased me and would have bitten my foot.  Every word of that was true.  Goodness knows how bad that could have been.

Maybe you could put a sticker on your cast that says "This foot is goin' up!" and you could use the situation to tell people about Christ. (Smile).
