(Jesus and Israel will fight though the northern part of the land, up to the valley of Jezreel.

This is the valley between Jezreel, Nazareth, and Megiddo, apparently where armies of the world had gathered:)

 

Revelation 16:14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

  16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

 

(This will be similar to:)

 

Judges 5:19a The kings came and fought, then fought the kings of Canaan in Taanach by the waters of Megiddo;

 

(They gather, like how the armies first gathered in Saudi Arabia, preparation for going into Kuwait, in the 1^st Gulf War.

They move against Israel, causing a great number of casualties:)

 

Zechariah 13:8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.

 

(A number of them will move against the south parts, and possibly the largest contingent will gather against Jerusalem.

Yet, a very large number will move against the north parts, as well as assisting the ten kings making a stand against Jesus:)

 

Revelation 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

  14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

 

(Though they gather in large numbers, with perhaps advanced weapons, and skilled warriors, they will not win, but be destroyed:)

 

Malachi 4:1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

  3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

 

(The enemies will face a burning destruction:)

 

Matthew 3:12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.
