{Revelation 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.}
(Line 13 says that when Jesus is coming down from heaven, his garments are dipped in the blood, not sprinkled with the blood.This is similar to:)
Genesis 37:31 And they took Joseph’s coat, and killed a kid of the goats, and dipped the coat in the blood;
(Perhaps, this will be a reminder to Israel, what they had done to Joseph, as a picture of what they had done to Jesus.But like Joseph was, Jesus wants to save them, not to take vengeance on them.And perhaps it also is like:)
Exodus 12:22 And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.
(To remind Israel of the Passover blood, which Jesus fulfilled perfectly.Later, after Jesus is on the earth, he is sprinkled with blood, but that will be the blood of his enemies:)
Isaiah 63:3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.
(That sprinkling of his enemies’ blood is also similar to II Kings 9:33:)
II Kings 9:33 And he said, Throw her down. So they threw her down: and some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses: and he trode her under foot.
