(Could Revelation 14 be showing a path to destruction?

And in particular, could it be showing, for those in the tribulation, the path to the lake of fire?

Could fornication be one of the main hooks that the enemy sets people up with, and then pulls them towards destruction?

First, by contrast, the 144,000 Hebrews who chose, like Joseph, to refrain from fornication:)

Revelation 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.} 

  4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

(It is completely wrong to try to indicate that women defile men, since that would contradict:)

Hebrews 13:4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

(If they would have married, their marriage bed would clearly have been undefiled.

Apparently, the 144,000 did not marry, as they are virgins, so, it must refer to them not having been defiled by fornication.

Is it possible that this is mentioned in context with what the second and third angels announce?)

Revelation 14:8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. 

(The world is told that all the nations have been taken in by Babylon’s fornication, she is guilty, but so are they.

She is the source of all the wickedness of fornication, including perversions, pornography, prostitution, and worse things.

However, like when we sin when we are tempted, they also are still guilty of all these vile things that Babylon seduced them to.

Isn’t the term, “wine of the wrath”, tied to the LORD’s wrath against man’s sin and wickedness, as seen later in line 10?)

Revelation 14:10a The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God,

(So, would, “the wine of his wrath”, be explicitly related to the source of the fornication that the world is going fully after?

That source is Babylon, which is shown and explained to John, 3 chapters later:)

Revelation 17:1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:

  2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.

  5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

(The LORD has used the terms whore, whoredom, and harlot, is in relation to his people, when they apostatized into idolatry.

This woman, Mystery, Babylon, that John sees is not only a whore, but a great whore, similar to how Israel had become:)

Ezekiel 16:35 Wherefore, O harlot, hear the word of the LORD:

  44 Behold, every one that useth proverbs shall use this proverb against thee, saying, As is the mother, so is her daughter.

(Like Israel in Ezekiel’s day, she spread her whoredoms to all about her.

Here, the whore, Mystery, Babylon, commits fornication with the kings of the earth.

These kings are drunken with the wine of her fornication – addicting, intoxicating.

All nations, and the kings of the earth, are drastically affected by her fornication:)

Revelation 18:3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

(So, after announcing Babylon’s fall, the third angel warns of the result of worshipping the antichrist:)

Revelation 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

  10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

  11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

(Are not the same people of the earth, that are drunk with the wine of the wrath of Babylon’s fornication,

the ones who, then, also worship the antichrist?

Could their ending up worshipping the antichrist be tied in any way to their fornication?

II Thessalonians 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

  12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Revelation 9:21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

(Could their fornication, and their refusal to repent of that fornication, be related to their having had pleasure in unrighteousness?

If so, could it then be, that this is then related to their being sent strong delusion, that they might be damned?

Worshipping the antichrist is what the world is warned against, as damnable.

If these things are related, then it is not a direct cause, but indirect.

People end up in the lake of fire for dying without Christ, and not being found written in the book of life.

Then, specifically, in the tribulation, people end up in the lake of fire for worshipping the antichrist. 

So, in either case, is fornication how the enemy sets people up, so they end up in the lake of fire?

Either to help ensure that they die without Christ, or that in the tribulation they worship the antichrist?

Kind of like how marijuana is a gateway drug to worse things?)

(Then, the ones who do not worship the antichrist are the ones written in the Lamb’s book of life:)

Revelation 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

(Those written in the Lamb’s book of life do not worship the antichrist, and do not end up in the lake of fire.

Rather, they end up with the Lamb forever, not unlike the 144,000 Hebrews mentioned, earlier.)

(Then, for those holding to a post tribulation, or pre-wrath, blessed hope, these things would be ominous.

In that scenario, Christians in the tribulation will be faced with the temptation to take the mark of the beast.

If those Christians are somehow still in fornication, including even viewing pornographic images on tv or the internet,

would they also, then, in that scenario, be subject to the strong delusion?

Additionally, to those holding to a partial blessed hope, would they not consider this a similar problem?

In that case, would not fornication, including even viewing pornographic images on tv or the internet,

be a definite reason for missing the blessed hope? Similar to the man in Corinth, who was put out of the church?

So, if that would be the case, would they also, then, be subject to the strong delusion?

I do not advocate a post trib, or partial, blessed hope - but if I’m wrong, the danger is inconceivably terrifying.)
