More Insight…

“And the Lord said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark: for thee have I found righteous before Me in this generation,” Genesis 7:1

“In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark,” Genesis 7:13.

INTRODUCTION

Short and to the point, for those who have eyes to see, and ears to hear, Matthew 13:16.

PAST, PRESENT, & FUTURE

THE PAST

Yesterday was Christmas Eve, December 24th, but even more important, yesterday was eight days before the end of this present 120th year.  The Lord Jesus explicitly said that “And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man,” Luke 17:26; Matthew 24:38-39.

It was eight day before the flood when God gave Noah the seven day warnin, “For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty night; and every living

substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth,” Genesis 7:4.

In this present day repetition of “the days of Noah,” yesterday, Dec. 24th, was eight days before the end of this present 120th year.  Many believers were expecting some kind of warning to be given, just as it was in “the days of Noah.”

Was such a warning given?  Give this some serious thought! After the flood in Genesis 8:22, the Lord told Noah, “While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”

But then in Amos 3:14-15, the Lord speaks about dealing with the transgressions of Israel, and explicitly says, “And I will smite the winter house with the summer house; and the houses of ivory shall perish, and the great houses shall have an end, saith the Lord.”  Compare Isaiah 5:9.  These Scriptures are obviously to be fulfilled during the tribulation period.  Well, guess what?

Tuesday, Dec 21st was the first day of winter.  But the weather was mild.  We have had only three light frosts here in this part of Missouri.  Then yestday, Dec. 24th, eight days before the end of this 120th year, the high temperature record for this date was broken.  The previous high temp for Dec. 24th here in Missouri,  was 71 degrees, set back in 1889.  Yesterday we reached 73 degrees.  So hot last night it was hard to sleep. This appears to    be the “sign” we were expecting from the Lord eight days before

the end of this 120th year.  Compare Isaiah 30:26 and Malachi 4:1.

THE PRESENT

Today is Christmas day, Dec. 25th, exactly seven days before the end of this present 120th year, ending on Dec. 31st.  The pattern fits exactly with “the days of Noah.”

Christmas day is traditionally observed as the day when Christ was born in Bethlehem.  There are good Scriptural reasons to doubt this theory.  Yet it is presumed to be the day Christ was born.  But look what it has become…..

Christmas Day for the masses of people, has become a day of drunkenness, doping, lusting, flirting, cheating, lying, stealing, anger, hate, fighting, and killing.  Full bloomed PAGANISM.

This will be going on all over America today, while true  believers are enjoying their Christmas dinner, exchanging gifts, and thanking God for His blessings.  But true believers today are very much in the minority in relation to world population.

There is no question in my mind that the Lord is offended by such wickedness, debauchery, and evil on Christmas Day, or on any other day of the year.  Unbelieving humanity totally ungrateful for the blessings of God.

THE FUTURE

The future is often foreshadowed by the past.  So it is with this present repetition of “the days of Noah,” Luke 17:26.

Noah, in response to God’s warning in Genesis 7:4, entered the Ark on the very last day of the 120 years, and thereby was saved from the JUDGMENT of the flood poured out upon the wicked who were LEFT BEHIND.

The last day of this present 120 years is December 31st.  Significantly, this last day is a Saturday, and therefore the weekly Sabbath day of the Jewish people.  The next day will be Sunday, the first day of the week.  Does this “ring any bells” for our readers?  It should!

Romans 6:5 clearly states that if we (believers) have been planted in His (the Lord’s) likeness, we shall also be raised in His likeness.  It is plainly and clearly stated in Matthew 28:1 that at the end of the Sabbath, and the beginning of the first day of the week, the two Mary’s (the Lord’s disciples) came to see the tomb of the Lord Jesus.  But He wasn’t  there.  He had risen from the dead exactly as the Jewish Sabbath day was ending, and the first day of the week (Sunday) was beginning.

Now this is exactly the layout of the days right here at the end of this 120th year.  This year is ending on a Jewish Sabbath day, and the new year is beginning on the first day of the week.  Now what are the odds of this being “coincidence?”  Infinitesimal!  Some brother in Christ has already put forth the effort  to study the future calendar years, and has found that the days of the  month of December  will not fall exactly this way for another

400 years.  Hello!  Is our gracious Lord trying to tell His people something?  I surely think so!

CONCLUSION

Just as Noah entered the Ark on the very last day of the 120 years, I expect the Lord’s church and believing  people, will  be “caught up” (raptured) into Heaven on the last day of this present 120 years; December 31st.   That is only seven days from the day I am writing this study.

Will the reader be READY (saved by grace…Eph. 2:8-10),  or will  the reader be LEFT BEHIND to face the JUDGMENT of the terrible tribulation?  The choice is set before our readers, and I advise every reader to choose the “way” of the Lord, Proverbs 14:12; John 14:6.  Will we meet in glory in seven more days?
