"Apostasy? Interesting
Debate."
Hi John and Doves,
I found this story intriguing. There is much to be said in
favour of the hypothesis. However - I lean heavily toward a
"falling away" or apostasy emanating from Israel. Here's why.
The entire story of human misery revolves around Almighty God's
chosen people. It revolves around Jerusalem. The people
inhabiting Israel. Almighty God clearly states, in Genesis, that
NOT adhering to keeping the Sabbath holy to God, will have major
repercussions. HUGE repercussions. Let's think clearly here.
Once we embrace the truth of Jesus Christ - confess with our
mouths and believe in our hearts - we are saved. Correct? We are
A OKAY! We are told that we are not appointed to wrath and face
no judgement or condemnation. We are set FREE. We have nothing
to worry about....right? So - how come we are worried? How come
we are anxious and feeling oppressed - just like the
unbelievers? It's a puzzle. Or.... is it?
Believers are promised a "comforter", which we know as our
beloved Holy Spirit. Man - we so need a comforter in these dark
days. Our faith - if a tad wobbly in some - could be shaken.
Which is why we are told to armour ourselves with knowledge.
Bible knowledge. I know I question Almighty God all the time.
Wondering why we are still here. Top scholars have always
promised us that we, as the Bride of Christ, will not get
"beaten up" etc. Then WHY are we still here?? This covid
shambles is a mind scrambler. Our children are being targeted.
Our faith is being targeted. Babies are being butchered via
abortion. WHAT GIVES? Is there a pre tribulation rapture or
what? And what qualifies as "pre tribulation"?
I believe we are waiting upon Israel. Almighty God's precious
Israel. Israel, who have been blinded in part - for our sake. In
the book of Exodus, we are shown that keeping the Sabbath holy
to God is paramount. It's the one day of the week that God
requires the Jewish people devote to Him. I believe this still
stands. It is NOT the falling away from the church that will be
the indicator or the end. It is NOT the falling away from faith
in Jesus Christ that marks the apostasy. For this to be true -
it would have to happen en masse. And how can that happen if the
majority of believers are indwelt by the Holy Spirit? NO - the
apostasy comes from Israel. The Israeli government, to be exact.
And I'm thinking it has a lot to do with the Temple Mount and
the Sabbath.
Our LORD Jesus appeared to the Jewish people first. We came
second. But only because the Jewish people were blinded in part.
As Almighty God's Chosen People, the Jewish people take
precedence.....in the grand scheme of things. The Jewish people
are set up as an example to us all. Again, I say - the predicted
end time apostasy does not involve the believing church. It's
ALL about Israel. We would be well equipped to keep our eyes
upon the Israeli government and their mish-mash of a knesset.
The entire thing is a very bad joke.
The very beginning involves the Jewish people and the land of
Israel. So too, will be the end. We believers are a "bride in
waiting". The bridesmaids are split. Half of the Jewish people
are ready to recognise their Messiah - half are not. 3.5 years
of Great Tribulation is nearly upon us. Because when WW3 breaks
out - there is little time left. If God does not cut those days
short - no flesh will be left.
