"I (God) will destroy those who used to worship Me but now no longer do.
They no longer ask for My guidance or seek My blessings."

I (God) will search with lanterns........."in the darkest corners" to find and punish those who sit "contented" in their sins, unconcerned about the Lord... thinking that He will do nothing at all.... to them.
They are the ones whose properties will be plundered by the enemy, whose homes will be ransacked.......
That terrible Day of the Lord is near. (Zephaniah 1:12)

Beg the Lord to save you - all you who are humble - all you who uphold justice. Walk humbly and do what is right. Perhaps even yet the Lord will protect you from..... His anger on that Day of destruction.
For it is My decision to gather together the kingdoms of the earth and pour out My fiercest anger and fury on them. All the earth will be devoured by..... the fire (not the flood this time) of My jealousy. (Zephaniah 2)
