Australia – We are ONE!!
Is a one word change in Australia's national anthem a sign of revival? As announced by our (Christian) Prime Minister Scott Morrison, the first part of Advance Australia Fair has gone from Australians all let us rejoice, for we are YOUNG and free, to for we are ONE and free.
Just one word, but it came one day after Australia completed 120 years as a nation (born on 1 January 1901). Forty years symbolises testing - Australia has passed through 3*40 times of testing!! It also comes at a time when Australia is anything but one: there has been a recurrence of Covid 19 (albeit at a very low level) and many border restrictions have been put back in place.
In the Garden of Gethsemane (John 17 verses 11, 12) Jesus prayed his great high priestly prayer - that they may be one. Interesting that the sum of the numbers 1 to 17 is 153 - the Gentile harvest number.
1 Corinthians 1 verse 17 7 For we, though many, are one bread and one body; for we all partake of that one bread.
There have been many prophetic words that the last and great revival will start in Australia, then move (and quickly) to other nations. Australia is called the Great Southland of the Holy Spirit. A true revival will have as its foundation the Word of God!! One of the main reasons for the word change is recognition of the thousands of years that Australia's first (Indigenous) people have lived in Australia. A true revival will embrace the Indigenous people - as ONE, and an answer to the Lord's heartfelt prayer - that they may be ONE!!
Romans 9 27 and 28 Isaiah also cries out concerning Israel: Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, The remnant will be saved.
28 For He will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness,
Because the Lord will make a short (quick) work upon the earth.We are on the threshold of this QUICK work, in the Day of the Lord. Australia is also called the Land of the Southern Cross - a widely used and loved symbol in Australia There are (to my non- expert understanding) 88 constellations in the known Universe. The Southern Cross, by area, is the SMALLEST of the constellations. Is the power of the Holy Spirit about to move Australia into much greater prominence, thus reversing the Astronomical order in this end time?
There are 176 verses in Psalm 119 or 2*88, in this Psalm about the WORD of GOD!! We should judge a revival by the depth of reaching on the Word!!
There is a great song titled We Are Australian that looks at the origins of Australians. I have copied the lyrics after this letter. Australia offers freedom of religion (even though this is threatened), freedoms that are not available in the origin nations for many Australians. Once again, a true revival will draw together as ONE all nations!! Becoming ONE is not about compromising on other religions, it is about becoming one with the Crucified One Jesus Christ!!
The Lord Jesus Christ has an end time purpose for ALL nations, not just Australia!!! I do not know when the Rapture will take place, but through the Church and Israel He will make a full end to all nations. Jeremiah 46 verse 28 (NKJV).
Do not fear, O Jacob My servant,” says the Lord, “For I am with you; for I will make a complete end of all the nations to which I have driven you, but I will not make a complete end of you.
A one word change in Australia’s national anthem, but one more sign along the countless others that Revival is imminent, and the Rapture and the Day of the Lord are rapidly approaching!!!! Keep looking up!!
