What is Jesus talking about, through the Apostle Paul, in Corinthians 2:16-17?  Jesus appointed Paul to be the Apostle to the Gentiles and Paul said the gospel he preached was revealed to him by Jesus Christ.

 

Colossians 2:16-17 (KJV)

16 ”Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:”

17 “Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.”

 

Leviticus 23:4 tells us that the Feasts of the Lord are Holy convocations.  Was Jesus referring to the Feasts of the Lord in verse 16?   If He was, how many of the seven Feasts of the Lord occur on a new moon?  What are these things to come?  Why is the body of Christ mentioned in verse 17?
