"A strong hand and powerful arm"

Hello, John and Doves,
Today's food for thought is a parallel to Parashat Vaera:
So the LORD brought us out of Egypt with a strong hand and powerful arm, with overwhelming terror, and with miraculous signs and wonders.
Deuteronomy 26:8 NLT
This is a reminder from Moshe to Israel that they serve an awesome and mighty God, who is by His very nature holy and without deficit of any kind.
He would like to bless a people like Himself.
This is why it is written,
25 “Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. Your filth will be washed away, and you will no longer worship idols. 26 And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart.  27 And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.
Ezekiel 36:25-27 NLT
Anyone who continually yields himself/herself to Jesus Christ, recognizing Him as Savior and LORD [the full expression of YHVH--Hebrews 1:3], will experience daily cleansing and shaping into the the blameless character of God.
It is written,
3 Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God.
4 Whenever I pray, I make my requests for all of you with joy, 5 for you have been my partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now. 6 And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.
Philippians 1:3-6 NLT
