Dear John and Doves -

Prophecy is not, nor was it ever intended to be ''tomorrow's news today'' - rather, it is a view into the heart of God, authenticated by the revelation of information only God can provide.  Perhaps the reason many Christians avoid prophecy is because the prophetic message reveals God's holiness as well as His hatred of sin, and many Christians are comfortable with sin and want just enough ''holiness'' to avoid damnation.
