There is coming an HOUR, A specific occasion, event, A measure, of ONE 24th part of a single day, known to us as "The" hour of temptation, which SHALL come upon all the world  "to try" THEM that dwell upon the earth.
 
We as believers in Christ's gospel do struggle with many issues and choices on a regular basis, and it will grow worse as [the day] approaches. The sifting of the wheat and the tares will be more and more clear to the church of Philadelphia as we draw nearer to this hour. We will stand out as a sore thumb; so to speak.
As does these letters against the background of the page.

 The Hour of Temptation signifies A specific HOUR by the simple word "THE."
 
Jesus said in Revelation 3:10:
BECAUSE....... there is [a CAUSE or reason] for what Jesus is about to say.
THOU.........directing the cause or reason to specific persons to whom the cause or reason is directed. ( the church of Philadelphia)
HAST.........meaning that these persons he is addressing have already done something or are still doing something.
KEPT.........held on to or remain in that something
THE.........a specific occasion  event, thing.
WORD.........the scriptures, the Bible
OF........... associated with or adhering to THE specific word.
MY............belonging to ONE specific person. (God's word)
PATIENCE..... steady perseverance, diligence, bearing of provocation, misfortune, or pain without complaint.
I..........The Lord Himself
ALSO.........likewise, in the same manner
WILL........... promise and shall
KEEP..........to save; reserve
YOU...........the church of Philadelphia to whom the letter was written.
FROM....... to indicate separation, removal, or exclusion
THE............A specific occasion, event, thing
HOUR........... A significant time
OF......associated with or adhering to THE significant hour.
TEMPTATION......the act of tempting or the state of being tempted, [a person or thing that tempts,] the fact or state of being tempted, [especially to evil.]
( read also these verses Matthew 4:3 and 1 Thessalonians 3:5 concerning a person that tempts / tempter. READ also James1:13 God does not tempt)

Which SHALL COME upon ALL the world, to TRY [THEM] THAT DWELL UPON THE EARTH.

I glean from this verse that the [church of Philadelphia] will be KEPT from THIS HOUR which SHALL come upon ALL [that dwell upon the earth.]
The church of Philadelphia being the only church set with an open door.
John the revelator wrote: I saw a door [was] opened in heaven, and the first voice he heard was as a trumpet, which said Come up hither. Revelation 4:1

Where else in scripture do we find [another CAUSE] by a person who is especially evil?
Remember first before reading Revelation 13:6-10 the words of Peter:
The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly OUT OF TEMPTATIONS, and reserve [THE] UNJUST UNTO THE DAY OF JUDGMENT to be punished;

Revelation 13:6  And he CAUSETH ALL, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, TO RECEIVE A MARK in their right hand, OR in their foreheads.
7) And it was given unto him [to make war with the saints, AND to overcome them:]
and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

And ALL [that dwell upon the earth] SHALL worship him, whose NAMES ARE [NOT] WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF LIFE OF THE LAMB SLAIN FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD.

9) IF ANY MAN have and ear, let him hear.

10) HE that leadeth into captivity SHALL GO into captivity:
HE that KILLETH with the sword MUST BE KILLED with the sword,
HERE IS THE PATIENCE [OF] THE SAINTS.
The church age has ended, is past,  called [the time of the gentiles;] the church has been taken out of the way, and the Lord turns his attention toward Jacob.
All things that happen upon the earth at this point, are supernatural, and the Lord begins to reveal himself progressively until the end of [the Time of Jacobs Trouble.]

Lets us break this down for better understanding of what the Lord is telling [the reader.]

We who have understanding of the message of the Lord to the church of Philadelphia, will NOT be troubled by these verses. Whereas some will and do believe and teach, that we are included in these verses, because it specifically said [the saints.]

In verse 9) we are given the word that we who have an ear and DO hear, are not troubled!
WHY?
Because in verse 8) WE of the church of Philadelphia have OUR NAMES written in the Lambs Book of Life, Before the foundation of the world. He God knew our members before there was any of them.
Psalms 139:16
Thine eyes DID SEE MY SUBSTANCE, yet being unperfect; AND [IN THY BOOK] ALL MY MEMBERS WERE WRITTEN, which in continuance were fashioned, WHEN AS YET THERE WAS NONE OF THEM.
We were foreknown of God. Surely we know and believe that God has set all things in place and his eye is always upon his sheep, ALAWAYS, even before we were formed in our mothers womb.

Let us also consider that THERE WILL BE individuals who come to know the Lord [after] the catching away, commonly called The Rapture.
Aren't these also SAINTS?
DIDN'T we read that these saints will be overcome by the antichrist ?
Martyrs for the gospel of Christ by [their] testimony?

Did we not read also that ALL who dwell upon the earth SHALL worship him, antichrist?
Will we be upon the earth at this time? NO, The Lord WILL Keep us from THE HOUR of temptation,( the person or thing that tempts) because we have kept HIS Patience.
Did it not read in verse 10) HERE IS THE PATIENCE "OF" THE SAINTS?
The saints, steady perseverance, diligence, bearing of provocation, annoyance, misfortune, or pain without complaint.
It isn't Jesus Patience is it?
It is the patience of the saints WHO ARE UPON THE EARTH IN THOSE DAYS.
We the church of Philadelphia have kept The Word "of" HIS Patience, and WILL be kept from The Hour of Temptation.
What then is the HOUR of temptation?
To RECEIVE the Mark, whereby none can buy or sell, lest he had the Mark.
JESUS said:
"I" am the bread of life: he that cometh TO me SHALL NEVER HUNGER; and he that believeth ON me SHALL NEVER THIRST.

Back in Revelation 6:11 and 7:9, and 7:13 we read that White Robes were given to them, and that THEY should rest yet a little season, until their fellow servants ALSO and their [brethren] which should be killed AS THEY WERE, should be fulfilled.
Where is it written in the word, that these should be killed and thus it be fulfilled?
Luke 21:9-19
 
Are we not seeing Christians being killed in the middle east at this very day?!
YES  and these will be raised FIRST (the dead in Christ) at the catching away.
Will there be more? Most likely we will see more of this in the days to come.
Could it happen here in the USA? Absolutely...we already have seen it.
Should we be afraid?!
NO
Paul said by the Holy Ghost:
2 Timothy1:7 For God hath [NOT] given us a spirit of fear; BUT OF POWER, and of a sound mind. 8) Be [not] thou therefore ashamed of [the testimony of our Lord,] nor of me his prisoner: BUT BE THOU PARTAKER OF THE [AFFLICTIONS OF THE GOSPEL] ACCORDING TO THE [POWER] OF GOD.
There will always be afflictions for those of us who Love and worship Jesus, BECAUSE the world hated him first, and therefore the world hates us also.
Jesus said:
Matthew 10:28   And FEAR NOT them which kill the body, BUT ARE NOT ABLE TO KILL THE SOUL: But rather FEAR HIM which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Luke 12:4 And I' say unto you MY FRIENDS, be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.
Are we friends of Jesus Christ? We surely should be.
Jesus said:
 GREATER LOVE HATH [NO] MAN than this, THAT HE LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIEND(S) John 15:13
Jesus did that for me and you, and ALL the world.
These SAINTS in Revelation 13:6-10 will give their lives for the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ BY [THEIR] TESTIMONY. ( when they are brought before the magistrates)
Revelation 12:11
After the dragon the devil has been cast down, THEY the saints overcome him by the blood of the Lamb, AND BY THE WORD OF [THEIR] TESTIMONY; and they loved not THEIR lives unto death.
Remember there is a LAST SOUL that must be purchased when the times of the gentiles is fully come in.

If we are caught up at the Rapture, then we will not be here dwelling upon the earth during these days.

Dear fellow believers; by the words of Paul to Timothy I reiterate; I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able TO KEEP that which I HAVE COMMITED UNTO HIM AGAINST "THAT DAY."
Whether it be THE HOUR of Temptation, or the day I stand before him at the judgment seat of Christ. Either way I know what he has spoken to me and I trust HIM.
Jesus said of those whom the seed fell upon good ground.
Luke 8:15   But that on the good ground are THEY, which in an honest and good heart, HAVING HEARD [THE WORD,] KEEP IT, and bring forth fruit with PATIENCE. This I believe is related to Revelation 3:10 as the church of Philadelphia has KEPT (the word "of" HIS PATIENCE, the fruit brought forth) we will be Kept from THE HOUR of TEMPTATION, which SHALL come upon all [them] who dwell upon earth and are NOT written in the Lambs Book of Life.

Luke 21:9-19  THE Patience "of" the Saints
But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, BE NOT TEREFIED: for these things MUST FIRST COME TO PASS; but the end is NOT BY and BY.
Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: And GREAT EARTHQUAKES shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and FEARFUL SIGHTS and GREAT SIGNS shall there be FROM HEAVEN.
BUT BEFORE ALL THESE, [THEY SHALL LAY THEIR HANDS ON YOU, AND PERSECUTE YOU, DELIVERING YOU UP TO THE SYNAGOGUES, AND INTO PRISONS, BEING BROUGHT BEFORE KINGS AND RULERS FOR MY NAME'S SAKE.]
[And it shall turn to you] FOR A TESTIMONY.
Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:
For I' will give you a mouth and WISDOM, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor RESIST.
And ye shall be BETRAYED both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and SOME OF YOU shall they CAUSE to be put to death.
And ye shall be HATED of [all] men for my name's sake.
18) BUT THERE SHALL [NOT] AN HAIR OF YOUR HEAD PERISH.
19) In [your] PATIENCE possess YE YOUR souls.

Perish: to pass from existence
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. Psalms 116:15

Is this the same situation we read in Revelation 3:10 ? I do not believe it is, BECAUSE "of" [In YOUR patience] is the same as in Revelation 13:10, which states: HERE IS THE PATIENCE "OF" THE SAINTS.
Whereas in Revelation 3:10 Jesus said thou hast kept the word of "MY" PATIENCE.
My........meaning belonging to ONE.
For there are THREE that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and THESE three are ONE. 1 John 5:7

We should ask ourselves, Who is The Restrainer ? He that letteth, until HE be taken OUT of The Way. 2 Thessalonians 2:7
I believe that we the TRUE church IS the restrainer. The church is indwelled with the Holy Ghost, and He restrains until "the Hour of Temptation" wherein we shall be kept from, (the one who tempts)

Out of The way of What? The Wrath of God which Shall come upon the wicked and ungodly living upon the earth who are tempted to RECEIVE the Mark of the beast.
Do not listen to these "Brute Beasts" who tell you that anyone who takes the Mark can still be saved. They lie!
Revelation 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: AND THEY HAVE NO REST DAY OR NIGHT, WHO WORSHIP THE BEAST AND HIS IMAGE, AND (WHOSOEVER RECEIVETH THE MARK OF HIS NAME.)
That is pretty clear !

IS it possible that we might suffer death, martyrdom, for the gospel of Jesus?
Absolutely, without question. It is happening NOW.
BUT, do not fear!   BECAUSE, they can only kill the body, and that is all they can do. Luke 12:4,5  And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. BUT I will forewarn you whom ye SHALL fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

The Fear of The Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have [all] they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the forward mouth, do I hate.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the KNOWLEDGE of the holy is understanding.
The fear of the Lord is [strong confidence:] AND HIS CHILDREN [SHALL] HAVE A PLACE OF REFUGE.
The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, TO DEPART FROM THE SNARES OF DEATH.
The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom; and before honor is humility. And [wisdom and knowledge] SHALL be the stability [OF THY TIMES,] and strength of salvation: the fear of the Lord is his TREASURE.

For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written [for our learning,] that we through [patience] and COMFORT [of the scriptures] MIGHT HAVE HOPE
.
That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who [through faith and patience] INHERIT THE PROMISES.
That Blessed Hope, AND the glorious appearing of the great God AND our Saviour Jesus Christ.
And lead us not INTO TEMPTATION, BUT DELIVER US FROM EVIL. The Lord is faithful, who SHALL stablish you, and KEEP you FROM EVIL.

Jesus said in his prayer to the Father:
I pray [not] that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest  KEEP them FROM  [the] EVIL.
Why do you think Jesus ask that the Father not take us out of the world?
Because, Matthew 19:28 That ye which have followed me, IN THE REGENERATION when the Son of man SHALL SIT IN THE THRONE OF GLORY, ye [also] shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. ( these are the twelve disciples)
We in our translated form will judge even the angels that fell, and it will be set as the examples we read of the judges in the wilderness with Moses, and after the Israelites were established in the land. (the book of Judges)
When the Lord God comes to bring his vengeance, we " the ten thousands of his saints" Jude 1:14 are also bringing vengeance. We are his Temple.
Jeremiah 50:28
The voice of them that flee and escape out of the land of Babylon, to declare in Zion the vengeance of the Lord our God, THE VENGEANCE OF HIS TEMPLE.
Jeremiah 51:11
Make bright the arrows; gather the shields: the Lord hath raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes: for his device is against Babylon, to destroy it; BECAUSE it is the vengeance of the Lord, THE VENGEANCE OF HIS TEMPLE.
1 Corinthians 3:16
Know ye not that ye ARE the Temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
Isaiah 35:4
Say to THEM that are of a fearful heart, BE STRONG, FEAR NOT: behold [YOUR] God WILL COME WITH VENGEANCE,  even God with a recompence; HE [WILL] COME AND SAVE [YOU.]
Can I' get a big AMEN?  Praise The Lord !

NO weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. THIS IS THE HERITAGE  OF THE SERVANTS OF THE LORD, and their righteousness IS OF ME, saith the LORD. Isaiah 54:17

Jesus said Revelation 22:12 And, Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to GIVE every man according [AS]  his work SHALL be.
We will have work to do!     I'm ready...What say you?
Ready to shed this corruptible body and put on my incorruptible body and get to work doing MORE for the Lord in eternity. Amen?!
For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we ARE the Lord's. Romans 14:8
