Microchip implants
 
I heard an interview on radio yesterday with Professor Kevin Warwick (robotic and cybernetics expert) - from the
University of Reading, England.  
 
Professor Warwick explains the "benefits and advantages" of implanting of microchips, to "enhance the brain" and "open up new opportunities" etc.  He makes it all sound like a very natural thing to want to do.
 
The video link below is well worth watching (if not already seen).   It illustrates the implanting and use of the microchips and describes his personal experiments.
