Hi:

> > 1 What misery is mine!
I am like one who gathers summer fruit
   at the gleaning of the vineyard;
there is no cluster of grapes to eat,
   none of the early figs that I crave.
2 The godly have been swept from the land;
   not one upright man remains. All men lie in wait to shed blood; each hunts his brother with a net.

Thanks for quoting this. Normally, I don't use the NIV, but this tells the story very well. The second Rapture (Rev. 7:14), the one that takes place on the Feast of Trumpets that is also the Day of God's Wrath (Rev. 6:17) has just taken place. Then verse 2 tells it like it is. "The godly have been swept from the land; not one upright man remains."

According to Song of Solomon 2:10-14, there are tender grapes at the time of the first Rapture. According to Micah, there are no clusters of grapes at the Second Rapture. I think the first Rapture will be next Ascension Day, May 21, 2011, and the second Rapture will be on the Feast of Trumpets, Sept. 14, 2015.

The 144,000 Israelites are caught up in this Rapture. Along with them is a great multitude that no man can measure (Rev. 7:9).
