"The New Year for Trees, 2025"

Hi John and Doves,

Tu B'Shvat (New Year for Trees) falls on Thursday February 13th, 2025.  Which is next week. What's interesting is that this is one day prior to our western Valentine's Day. What's also fascinating is that there was a super, blood moon on Tu B'Shvat in 2018. 7 years ago, Tu B'Shvat fell on January 31st, 2018.  Israel's 70th birthday year. In Luke 21:29, Jesus urged us to look at the fig tree, and all the trees.

In Luke 21, our LORD Jesus was asked about the end times. His replies are detailed and very telling. Jesus talks about 'the trees' in Luke 21:19. He emphasises that the spouting of the leaves on the trees is a major indicator of the looming day of the LORD.  And He also talks about matters concerning the Jewish people at Purim. Luke 21:34 has our LORD Jesus saying that people must be careful about drinking and carousing as 'that day' will come upon them like a trap. The feast of Purim seems to be a day of great drunkenness for certain sectors of Israeli society. All-fall-down drunkenness! Absolute sozzledom! (VERY drunk).

Reading the entire chapter of Luke 21 gives us a very good idea of what to look out for.  The chronological order of Jesus' warnings lead me to the first warning occurring on Tu B'Shvat.  After that -Purim. It's a fascinating chapter. Extremely apropos for this 77 year of Israel's birthday in 1948. Especially taking current day events into consideration.

Please come soon, LORD Jesus.
