"TO EAR:  When Are The Tares Cast Into The Fire?"

This in reply to your 2/16 post Reply to Donna Danna and Gino Re: Tares cast into the fire in which you stated the following:

"However, for those involved in the advancement of God’s Kingdom on earth, I don’t think that the gathering of the ‘tares’ from all the nations, AND the burning of them happens at the same time… (as per your first statement)."

The first time would be at the beginning of Jesus' millennium kingdom when Jesus returns with His angels to set up his kingdom on Earth when the sheep (wheat) are separated from the goats (tares) with the goats going into everlasting fire which would be the lake of fire in Matthew 25:41.

"It may be a two-part process as I have outlined to Chance: perhaps PART ONE is a moral and spiritual revival and the enemy’s tares are gathered at Armageddon just prior to the Second Coming, and PART TWO occurs at the White Throne judgment at the end of the Millennial Rule of Jesus Christ."

The enemies (tares) gathered at Armageddon were not gathered by the angels like the ones in Matt. 13:40-42 that are cast into the furnace of fire, but they are gathered at Armageddon by the spirits of devils that came out of the mouth of the dragon, the beast and the False Prophet according to Rev. 16:13-14. The fowls (vultures) end up eating these kings' and their armies' flesh leaving the bones which I assume would be buried while their souls end up in hell awaiting the great white throne judgment at which time they will end up in the lake of fire being cast there by the angels.  This would also happen to the remnant that were in the Armageddon War who survived, but the Lord Jesus slayed them with the sword from His mouth which is the word of God (Rev. 19:21). I can't see the angels at this point in time throwing their bones into the lake of fire when their souls are in hell because everyone that ends up in the lake of fire from what I have read is alive when it happens including the beast & the false prophet in Rev. 20:10, the goats from the sheep & goat judgment in Matt.25:41 &46, and those resurrected from hell at the great white throne judgment whose names are not found in the book of life in Rev. 20:11-15. Also according to Rev. 20:5 the rest of the dead do not live again (resurrected) until the 1,000 year reign of the Lord Jesus is finished.

However, what happens to those taking the mark of the beast that are still alive when the Lord Jesus returns? Rev. 14:9-11 says the following about them:

"And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name."

Rev. 21:8 also says, "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."

So it looks like at this point in time those alive that had taken the mark of the beast and who had worshipped the image of the beast which is idolatry are cast into the lake of fire because those taking the mark of the beast are also enduring the same type of punishment as the devil who is thrown into the lake of fire where the beast and False Prophet are. Rev. 20:10 says, "And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever" while those who had taken the mark of the beast are being tormented day and night as well as shown in the verses above according to Rev. 14:9-11.
