Hosea 9:10 states, "I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness; I saw your forefathers as the earliest fruit on the FIG TREE (Israel) in its first season."
Matthew 24:32-36 states, "Now learn the parable from the FIG TREE (Israel): when its branch has already become tender, and puts forth its leaves (Israel's return as a nation in 1948), you know that summer (the 1000 year Kingdom Age following the Second Coming) is near; even so you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door (Rapture)." The Rapture is presented as a "door" in Scripture, too much to go into here. "Truly I say to you, THIS GENERATION WILL NOT PASS AWAY UNTIL ALL THESE THINGS TAKE PLACE. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone." By the way, when does Israel which now only bears leaves bear fruit? When she receives her Messiah at the Second Coming!
So, what "generation" shall not pass away until all these things take place? The generation that sees Israel's return as a nation in 1948! This coming May 14th Israel will turn 76 years old, and there is still the upcoming 7 year Tribulation Period before the Second Coming. So the minimum number of years now from 1948 to the Second Coming is 76 years + 7 years (Tribulation Period) = 83 years. Does that constitute a "generation"? Personally I think so, and that means that the Rapture (which occurs before the 7 year Tribulation) is now drawing very near!
This morning (Feb. 23rd) on the news there was talk of a resolution agreement between Hamas in the Gaza Strip and Israel. Right after the upcoming Rapture occurs the antichrist will be released on the global stage and he will make a "firm covenant with the many for one week" (Daniel 9:27, and "one week" is the 7 year Tribulation Period). Personally (way too much to go into here, but I base this on Scripture) I believe tha antichrist will come out of the European Union.
So, as the time of the Rapture draws near (and I personally think it could very well occur this spring, perhaps even around the time of the total solar eclipse on April 8th). Should it occur later than this spring, it still is near! Is everyone ready for the Rapture? To get one's "ticket" to the Rapture one must receive Jesus (Israel's long rejected Messiah) into one's heart and be "born again". That means all of my Jewish friends too for there is no other way to eternal life! With this "ticket" one will be Raptured out of the earth when the time comes. Those left on the earth will come up with a false explantion for the Rapture---- likely UFO's had just removed some of the people from the earth. Anyone left on earth after the Rapture will face the most terrifying time in all of human history! You really don't want to be here for that!
