A short 5 minute video in the link.  Lots of fascinating information. However, I disagree that sacrifice is required (as in sacrificing Israel's sons and daughters) I believe the key component God was showing Abraham is OBEDIENCE. If we obey God, sacrifice is not required. Sure, Israel is required to go to war with Amalek but obedience to God always guarantees victory.
