I've always been taught, and believed, that the plague in Zechariah 14, is at the second advent.

Zechariah 14:12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

That these are those gathered together to fight against Jerusalem, and are destroyed when Jesus returns.

I still believe that.

My question is whether this could be a double fulfillment scripture?

Can this prophesy of the time of Jesus' return, and yet also prophesy of the time at the end of the thousand year kingdom?

Revelation 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

Can this not happen twice?
